When it comes to women’s denim, we have a policy: less is more. We’re all about wild prints and exciting textures to spice life up once in a while, but a favorite pair of neutral-hued skinny jeans or no-fuss cut-off shorts can make the difference between a last minute outfit and a stellar ensemble. Eugene Is My Middle Name released their spring 2013 lookbook full of gorgeous clean lines and vibrant hues for the upcoming warm weather season, and we’re all over it.

You can shop the spring collection online at Scoop NYC. A percentage of all the brand’s profits are donated to charities that empower lives globally.

We love the “less is more” design philosophy, especially when it comes to jeans. It’s always refreshing to find a pair of jeans free of bells-and-whistles, that emphasize beautiful fit, carefully selected fabrics, and artisanal washes. Eugene Is My Middle Name is one of those brands, and their fall/winter 2012 lookbook features some gorgeous brights for the cold weather season. If you’ve been hesitant to wear light wash denim, white jeans, or metallics in the past, these styles should help you tip the scales in the other direction.
See four of our favorite looks below, including a pair of hand-sanded Italian denim ombre skinnies, bleached-out light wash, gold metallic hand-gilded and Japanese cotton jeans.
