Talk about attention grabber! Muse-worthy babe Bar Refaeli was photographed looking sultry for this month’s issue of Vogue Spain with wavy blonde locks and medium-wash denim. With an open jacket revealing her under-things and poses fit to weaken knees, it’s hard to focus on the clothes in this editorial… unless you’re denim-obsessed like we are! We couldn’t help but gawk at the desaturated denim workshirt and the school-pride style sports jacket that would look amazing with any pair of skinny jeans this fall. See for yourself! Just make sure your boss isn’t lurking over the computer. He might not be able to contain himself.

Daisy Lowe gets super-sexy in denim for Velvet Magazine, in an entire editorial seemingly dedicated to the way a great pair of shredded shorts can add edge to even the simplest outfit combo, and why it’s okay to tie your denim jacket around your waist like you used to in the early ’90s (if you even remember back that far). Just-woke-up hair and romantic, dreary gazes from Daisy’s doll face set the mood for a contrast between angel-soft and blue-jean-tough. Check all of the sexy shots below.

There are two things that will always be true: boys will be boys and denim will be always be our partner in crime. This playful editorial from new wave online magazine The Ones 2 Watch (which showcases the work of some the fashion industry’s up and coming talent from photographers to stylists) makes us want to get out of the city, head to the nearest forest, get rowdy and play rough. Besides the overall 90s grunge aesthetic, we love the vintage acid washed denim back pack and denim vest from Episode and the customized vintage tie-dyed Levi’s, the perfect touches for a game-ready look.

Photo portraits and documentaries have long since been a favorite subject for photographers in the fashion world. Anecdotal photo shoots that exuded lifestyle ruled VOGUE at one point, and though the industry now favors high contrast Terry Richardson portraits and style through the blogger’s lens, there’s still something to be said for a shoot that makes a social comment and tells a story (whether the story is agreed upon by the subjects it’s inspired by is another issue all together, of course). Here, Exit Magazine showcases Jersey Girls—a tough street-inspired spread featuring not-so-ladylike ladies and their uniform of choice. This is about as non-Jersey Shore as it gets.

In case you needed a quick reminder of how sexy denim can be, in comes bombshell Keke Lindgard in Elle France November 2010, in the Folk Allure editorial (c/o Denimology). While the presence of “folk” fashion is actually questionable here, we do spy a pleasing mix of grunge, prep, boho, and southern belle. Another testament to the versatility and cross-genre styling potential of our favorite textile. But back to sex appeal—red lipstick, knee high leather boots, and copious, luxurious fur are just a few elements you can add to your denim look to pack a real punch when you walk in any room.
