Levi’s isn’t just using vintage-inspired looks for its Spring/Summer collection this year, they’re literally copying and remaking pages from their previous collections — some as far back as the 1930s! They’ll be giving us all-denim ensembles, raw-looking, loose fits for men and women, and, of course, the ever-present denim trend of the season: overalls. So, guys, order some suspenders; girls, start looking on Etsy for handmade denim hair bows, because this is HAPPENING.

If you’re like us you love a healthy dose of double denim year-round! And with the season getting a bit cooler it’s the perfect time to throw on your best denim duds and layer things up with fall friendly separates. We’re totally digging this look by Mohcine Aoki of Morocco. He pairs an ace light wash denim jacket with killer distressed dark wash skinny jeans (you gotta love a good mix of opposing washes) with a cool blue plaid shirt, boots, and a funky fair isle print beanie. Want to cozy things up even more? A cool heather grey hoodie will not only keep you warm but will add to the cool factor.

The latest campaign for QS by S. Oliver might have just single-handedly seduced us into fall, officially snapping us out of our summer mode. Who would of thought the day would come? All we have to say is that if fall promises to be a denim fest as cool, hip, young, and simply rockin’ as this campaign looks we’re totally down! Our favorite piece? Where do we start? From double denim looks to full on denim jumpsuits (paired with amazing roller skates), it’s tough to choose! See for yourself bellow!

When it comes to cool men’s denim duds with a rockin’ edge, Blackbarrett by Neil Barrett is definitely at the top of our list. And this simple yet definitely very effective editorial in the October 2011 issue of Men’s Fudge Magazine proves it! We’re totally digging this showcase of some of the brands fall 2011 denim separates. Dusty dark grey jeans are styled alongside moto-style inspired jackets and leather shirts while double denim looks slick and edgy with casual jersey blazers and simple tees. Prefect and totally wearable—guys take note!

We love this editorial out of the pages of Indie Magazine featuring Leebo Freeman dressed in some of the latest denim wears of the fall season. Styled by Ingo Nahrwold, newness is added to the still strong Americana trend by mixing in classic vintage varsity graphic tees a jerseys—a definite must have for anybody who wants to stay on trend. Long three-quarter blazers matched with double denim gives the otherwise casual-cool look a slightly more dapper appeal. Take a hint from the editorial below!

This fall True Religion ditches its usual bohemian hippie vibe and highlights its western side in a classic Americana mix of leather, vintage plaids, ditsy florals, and denim essentials. Shot by Nino Mu?oz and modeled by Anne Vyalitsyna, head-to-toe denim looks accented with Navajo printed belts and turquoise jewelry definitely give the double denim look a killer (though not-so-groundbreaking) revamp. A suede chunky platform in a saturated camel hue instead of a cowboy boot could definitely take this from ultra-conceptual to totally wearable. We dig! The west is officially back ya’ll!

Nothing solidifies the coming of spring for us more than a bright, fresh, and heavy dose of double denim. And clearly denim brand Tribeca New York is totally on the same page as us. Their spring lookbook is full of head-to-toe denim looks that include essential denim separates from denim jackets, work shirts, and of course jeans in great medium to light washes. Simple, effective, and to the denim point this lookbook definitely hypes us up for the warm weather season and has us counting the number of double denim looks we have in our closets!
