We popped by DL1961‘s booth at Coterie and saw that they’ve cooked up a wide range of colored jeans for next season. They covered pastel jewel tones and neons (two best-selling palettes), and some waxed denim in fall colors (like a bold fire engine red that we wanted to take home). Shorts were a similar range of exciting hues. DL1961′s denim is for the gal that loves a snug fit. Their signature four-way stretch means these are borderline jeggings, and will all look amazing with an oversized off-shoulder top. Browse some of their other offerings below!

Have you tried on a pair of coated jeans yet? Let’s just say, not all coated denim are made equal. Recently, Denim Therapy had the chance to review a pair of DL1961 Emma jeans in Wick. These are black coated denim leggings made with X-Fit 4-way stretch jeans, so you don’t have to suffer to look great. I am wearing the Emma in a size 26 with a 32″ inseam. Although I’m not very tall, these jeans fit me perfectly from hip to ankle. Even as these are low-rise jeans (about 8 1/2″ rise), I was impressed with its contoured waistband, which prevented puckering at the back. Equally impressive was how the waistband was cut near the front: slightly higher on the sides so there was no pinching at the hip bones. One thing to note: the non-rubbery coating is only on the outside, so the interior is soft.

Well looky here! Two celebs were spotted rocking DL1961 Premium Denim recently in Los Angeles. On January 30, 2011, Amber Lancaster of MTV’s “The Hard Times of RJ Berger” braved the rain in her DL1961 Jessica in Twilight wash. Her jeans are a low rise skinny with a zipper detail over the right back pocket. The Jessica in Twilight ($168) is available at DL1961 online. Just last weekend, “The Sopranos” alum Jamie-Lynn Sigler, was spotted out and about in her DL1961 Nicole in Onyx wash. These jeans are a full-length ultra skinny jean. Both ladies seem to be running errands (note the comfy gray sweaters on both!) on chilly, wet days, likely wearing jeans that will make them feel comfortable as well.
