1. Speaking for all us vertically challenged folk, it is always hard to find jeans that you don’t have to alter. Agave Denim has some great options for petite ladies, like the Chica jean with a 29″ inseam.
2. Hudson Jean‘s new Turbotech initiative will allow you to pick your own personal denim wash, so you can “take your jeans from raw to vintage in 30 days.”
3. Check out Superdry‘s men’s and women’s collections–they’re full of preppy, sporty looks.
4. For fall/winter 2012, Lee 101 has a collection of cords, denim outwear, and chambray selections. The collection is called Field & Country, which is just where you should be wearing these!
5. Need advice on what shoes to wear with your jeans? Here are 15 options to pick from.

So here’s the thing: we love hearing about new, innovative denim-making techniques, but we also love it when the results are, well, something we’d actually want to wear. Thankfully, Analog Clothing‘s Wheel Wash technique doesn’t let us down. The chill sports lifestyle brand eschews the traditional process of stone-washing to break down denim material, substituting–get this–old skateboard wheels for smooth and conditioned jeans. (Who knew that old wheels = fabric softener?) We give them major props for repurposing, but we’re most thrilled about the fact that the jeans made from this technique aren’t limited to one particular wash; the selection ranges from coated denim to cerulean blue jeans.

There’s nothing wrong with sporting simple jeans, but let’s face it sometimes simple can be borderline boring. How do you keep your denim wardrobe from falling short on cool points? Get into denim with interesting washes. We’re really digging the latest denim collection from Meltin’ Pot. Not only are their jeans utterly cool, but they also come in an array of washes that are certain to keep you looking stylish and anything but boring. Our favorite? We’re really into ultra-faded washes right now, so the light grey pair pictured bellow is ace in our book . Check out all the different washes and styles bellow!

Odyn Vovk reveals his 2012 Spring/Summer Collection in a short fashion film. The denim vest, jean jacket, and jeans function as staple pieces for the man featured in the film, yet still manage to be unique due to distinctive collars, buttons, and light washes. The man in the film is going somewhere, and though he may not know where, he’s got the durable clothing to stick with him for the long run. You may not be going soul searching anytime soon, but these denim favorites are great pieces to have no matter where you’re headed.

What happens when you mix a whole lot of rock n’ roll, a “rebel without a cause” attitude, and a bunch of pretty young things dressed in denim essentials? Well, for starters, the makings of a pretty kick-ass campaign. Levi’s Red Tab has definitely taken itself into new territory for Spring Summer 2011 and we’re loving it. Featuring “it” boy and bonafide denim muse, Cole Mohr, the campaign has an added angst that really elevates the tone of brand to exciting new levels. We are loving the vintage rocker tees and the icon pieces that never go out of style like the leather biker jacket. And, needless to say, we are especially thrilled with the range of denim washes from ultra aged blues to the saturated yellows. We say “yes” to this new uncompromising rebellious attitude and, obviously, to the always great Levi’s style.
