Do I make your horny, baby? … Yes, we just made an Austin Powers reference. And while that might be an ancient bit of humor now, there is nothing else we can say when we take a look inside the pages of Playboy Magazine from 1976, where denim-on-denim is a trend so alive and well, they’re making suits out of it. Suits with contrast-plaid collars, for instance. We’re pretty sure this particular take on double denim is outdated, but some part of it is still alive and well. So guys, go ahead and smirk as you scroll, but just know it’ll always be the job of future generations to smirk at vintage styles while they’re also adapting them!
