If you’re anything like us, chances are your social calendar is pretty full. And lets face it, when you’re running around from previews and meetings during the day to events and parties into the evening there’s no time to be doing any major wardrobe changes. We figured you’d agree, so we’ve put together three denim-centric looks to make your day-to-night transition a piece of cake! The key is to mix things up. Try styling evening wear into your day looks! Pairing metallic pieces with your denim separates and throwing in a good dose of shiny patent leather and bold jewelry for an added kick will do just the trick.

Sitting on a plane for hours at a time might seem like the antithesis of denim dressing, but your denim options aren’t limited to your oh-so-cute but oh-so-tight, no-stretch selvedge skinny jeans. Switch up your routine and try a denim dress the next time you’re up in the air. Seriously underrated as optimal travel wear, you’ll be sitting cute and comfortable as long as you find a frock that’s loose enough to allow for movement–nothing stiff, starchy, or overly-structured. Shirt dresses and stretchy, sleeveless dresses fit the bill perfectly and encourage layering (a traveler’s BFF!), while allowing you to swiftly navigate the airport sans-snags. Any kind of snuggly, oversize cardigan is a safe and cozy complement, especially when paired with a thick scarf, which can double as a neck pillow when you’re sleeping on-board. Add a chic pair of flat, low-cut boots that you can easily slip on and off your feet and some thick tights or leggings and you’ll be ready for take-off in style!

Take a hint from blogger-darling Alexandra of Lovely Pepa and trade in your jeans for an oversized denim shirt dress layered under a bold cozy sweater. Want to add a bit of a tough edge? Throw on a pair of combat boots and ultra retro sunnies and you’re set. If you’re going to give your jeans a break sometime this season, then this is definitely the way to do denim!

Italian label Replay is known for its casual, subtly sexy womenswear–and their latest collection does not disappoint! The brand’s full spring/summer 2012 lookbook not only encompasses a wide variety of denim pieces, ranging from metallic jeans and jumpsuits to miniskirts and military-style jean jackets, but can also carry you through casual day wear to work-appropriate attire to “look at me!” nighttime looks. We love the little touches, like the accent of pale blue denim patches on white jeans, and the attention to different rinses. In fact, we’re still going gaga over the perfect tea-stained shade of a pair of cuffed jeans…it sure ain’t run-of-the-mill.
