What do you get when you combine two of the most creative brands together for a collaboration? You get these Naked & Famous Denim x Billionaire Boys Club ‘Bee Line’ by Mark McNairy. In many ways both companies are pioneering fashion towards the new age, with Brandon Svarc leading N&F, and with Mark McNairy (as well as renowned innovator Pharrell) as the minds behind Billionaire Boys Club (BBC). McNairy, while attending the Capsule Show in NYC, hooked up with the N&F booth and made his own personal touches to the classic WeirdGuy fit.

Svarc recounts the tale by saying McNairy came over to their booth and they both immediately agreed to create a collab jean. While sitting on the floor of their booth, Svarc showed McNairy di
They added Honeycomb Yellow rip-stop twill pocket bags, a lowered coin pocket, gold and yellow stitching, and a custom gold Bee Line Waist Button. They even reached out to the cult underground Japanese artist Rocking Jelly Bean to create their co-branded leather patch on the back of the denim.

Spring 2013 for Nudie Jeans Co. means bold colors like burnt lemon yellow, teal, and rich maroon. Colored denim for men is making a big comeback through hues specifically catered to dudes. Nudie is making a “sartorial statement of the brand’s culture, bringing vibrant color and fun to your wardrobe. Each jean will live the wearers life, bleed and fade just like any denim wash.” Additionally, a classic range of organic blue jeans ranging in color from light-wash white to deep indigo are available.

Last time we linked up with Kuro, they showed us a gradient of denim washed, aged, and treated for different lengths of time, and told us the best way to wear distressed vintage jeans was with a tailored blazer and a crisp, clean button-down. Sound advice that doesn’t expire, it turns out, since we ran into them this week and they were keeping with their vintage meets tailored aesthetic. “Denim for the Yohji fan,” they explained, showing us a dapper mannequin outfitted in the customer image. Selvedge trimmed back pockets, top-stitching, and other details characterize this impressive Japanese brand. Check them out online for more on their philosophy and products.

The two worlds of fashion and food rarely collide, but the brains behind Naked & Famous Denim have linked the two with ease. Naked & Famous have created scratch and sniff jeans that lasts up to 5 washes. The idea is reminiscent of nostalgic scratch and sniff stickers from way back when. These radical and raw raspberry-infused denim come in the Weird Guy fit with a button fly. These jeans are certainly the ultimate conversation starter. Do you mind if we smell your pants?

The Fall 2011 Mens Collection from the Italian brand JFour has all the clothes you need for an edgy, but put together look. The denim is not limited to just their jeans, but a rich dark-wash chambray workshirt, and a great denim blazer that can casually dress up any outfit. Their long-sleeve knits portray Native American imagery, which is a definitely change from the usual print interpretation we see of this trend, but the graphics can be a bit loud. The jeans range from light to dark washes, so it is super easy to pair them with one of the work shirts or the blazer and rock the denim on denim look without matching too much. Next time we’re overseas, we know right where we’re headed.

Not feeling dark shades this winter? We aren’t either! But lets face it, sometimes it’s hard not to result to black during the cooler seasons. An easy way to keep your wardrobe on the bright side is to mix and match different shades of denim and by adding interest to any look with interesting prints and patterns. Mohcine Aoki does just that by styling a cool fair isle sweater with a not so matchy, matchy double denim ensemble (we really dig his light washed denim jacket!). To ensure you keep things bright, style in accessories with pops of color and in warmer shades like brown instead of black.
1. Topman ecru geometric pattern sweater ($60) — buy it at Topman.
2. Levi’s hop cap boots ($272) — buy it at ASOS.
3. Miracle Icons tourmaline bead bracelet ($115) — buy it at Barneys Co-Op.
4. Ksubi The Roadie skinny jean ($215) — buy it at American Rag.
5. Acne Steve Pearl denim jacket ($240) — buy it at SSENSE.
