It’s no secret we’re daydreaming about spring, and warmer climate-centered blogs are an easy way to escape when the snow is falling outside our office window. Viva Luxury is one of our favorites, and we’re sort of obsessed with this denim jumpsuit look. The secret to wearing this tricky garment in a feminine way? A pair of huge colored gem earrings and a pair of heels.
Dresses are awesome because they require little to no effort. Slip in, slip out, and you can be on your merry way. Now, jumpsuits and rompers should have the same effect, but they carry a bit of a stigma, even though they’re great to incorporate into your wardrobe as alternative one-piece options. They’re called playsuits because they’re fun. We’ve plucked twelve denim pieces that make our cut for spring and summer, check them out below!
1. A.P.C. Blue Denim Jumpsuit 2. Emma Cook Sleeveless Jumpsuit 3. Twenty8Twelve ‘Hardy’ Romper
4. Dolce Vita Kate Chambray Romper 5. Paul & Joe Drawstring Chambray Playsuit 6. Sessun Jumpsuit
7. Miss Selfridge Crochet Denim Playsuit 8. ASOS Pussybow Denim Playsuit 9. See by Chloe Denim Playsuit
10. Levi’s Denim Playsuit 11. Topshop Acid Denim Playsuit 12. Gap 1969 Denim Wrap Jumpsuit

Model Dempsey Stewart causes a little wardrobe scandal in an editorial shot by Christopher Ferguson for Stonefox Magazine. Denim featured includes a pair of acid-wash skinnies by Mavi and several pieces by Wrangler, including a denim jumpsuit, destroyed denim workshirt, and shredded cut-off shorts that turn the sex appeal up to dangerous levels. Check out the full editorial below (NSFW).

Jeans are the epitome of model off-duty style, not only for their ease and capability to rough it through casting calls, but also because they are the perfect clean sartorial palette. New Australian magazine Stonefox captures that casual cool with this striking black-and-white editorial. Donning simple tees (or none at all), ripped and ragged cutoffs, denim jumpsuits, jean jackets, and more, Dempsey Stewart looks fresh-faced and subtly sexy–always a winning combination.

Italian label Replay is known for its casual, subtly sexy womenswear–and their latest collection does not disappoint! The brand’s full spring/summer 2012 lookbook not only encompasses a wide variety of denim pieces, ranging from metallic jeans and jumpsuits to miniskirts and military-style jean jackets, but can also carry you through casual day wear to work-appropriate attire to “look at me!” nighttime looks. We love the little touches, like the accent of pale blue denim patches on white jeans, and the attention to different rinses. In fact, we’re still going gaga over the perfect tea-stained shade of a pair of cuffed jeans…it sure ain’t run-of-the-mill.

The latest campaign for QS by S. Oliver might have just single-handedly seduced us into fall, officially snapping us out of our summer mode. Who would of thought the day would come? All we have to say is that if fall promises to be a denim fest as cool, hip, young, and simply rockin’ as this campaign looks we’re totally down! Our favorite piece? Where do we start? From double denim looks to full on denim jumpsuits (paired with amazing roller skates), it’s tough to choose! See for yourself bellow!

When Charley 5.0 hit the scene they were determined on being a “fashion brand” that were straying from the typical jean. And they’ve done that pretty successfully, with some super cute adaptations of sportswear (and even borderline evening wear) in chambray and denim that seduced celebs and civilians alike. Their holiday & spring 2012 lookbook is no exception, with a breezy summer backdrop and clothing that’s anything but standard. Floor length dresses and crop-tops add some light bohemian edge to a color story of nautical whites and medium wash blue.
The styling is clearly warm-weather oriented, but there are some pieces we just can’t wait for. A floor length button-front denim dress with long sleeves has us spinning in our office chairs with the desire to wear-right-now, and we can say the same for the dark wash denim jumpsuit (which is sleeveless, but imagine it with a sheer scoop neck top and a big chunky sweater—yowza!). While summer withdrawal is the first impression we got when we saw these looks, we’re happy to see some items that get us revved up for layering, too.

We just got back from Jeremy Scott’s spring 2012 presentation at Milk Studios with the likes of Waris Ahluwalia and Peaches Geldof (and some dude on roller skates), and we were pleasantly surprised when the first four or five looks came parading down the runway. Head-to-toe denim! It translated quickly into neon colors, cactus-printed fabrics, assless-chaps and other design details that bring you straight back to a ’90s rave in an abandoned barn… but we gotta hand it to him—some of these womens’ denim looks were ready to wear right out onto the street (and we’d wear ‘em)!
