Well,Well, Well. Look at what we have here! Kate Upton has definitely “up” the ante, in this uber sexy editorial for Complex August/ September 2011 issue. An ode to the fabulous pin up girl era, the editorial conveys a sense of femininity that is domineering and strong while still maintaing a softer side, (because living on a farm is no walk in the park). We love Upton’s perfectly coifed hair and brassiere top that leaves little to the imagination, (you can say her cups runneth over)  and her denim hot-pants, although not something we would wear on a regular basis is extremely sexy and chic. How lovely would it be if we could all do our house chores while chasing hens and still look this perfect? If and ever that was made possible to do, we’d refer back to this editorial for reference. Get The Look: Alexa Chung in Double Denim

By now, you probably already know that fashion’s It Girl Alexa Chung really likes denim, and is particularly infatuated with denim shorts.  Whether at the Glastonbury Music Festival, a magazine photo shoot or a ‘W’ hotel opening, as pictured in this photo below, you can count on Alexa to show some leg.  We’re really digging the little girl meets saucy West Londoner look she’s pulled together.  With her second collaboration with Madewell just out, you know this won’t be the last celebrity style sighting of Alexa in jeans, a denim jacket or of her parading around in sexy little denim hotpants for that matter.

Street Style: Denim Looks of Berlin Fashion Week

Thanks to Berlin Fashion Week, along with the usual suspects who clutter Friedrichstrasse on any given day, some interesting denim ensemble interpretations came out of the woodworks. You’d think the fashion sideshow would be seen on the street.  Instead, bald female models sporting fuzzy beards were seen on the catwalk at Patrick Mohr.

One thing I did notice in Street Style snaps, which seemed odd, too: men’s choices of footwear were questionable, while the shoes were the one thing that made the ensemble for women.  Denim hotpants were out in force with the ladies, while men wore jeans rolled up just high enough to tan their ankles.  And yep.  No socks.
