We just got back from Jeremy Scott’s spring 2012 presentation at Milk Studios with the likes of Waris Ahluwalia and Peaches Geldof (and some dude on roller skates), and we were pleasantly surprised when the first four or five looks came parading down the runway. Head-to-toe denim! It translated quickly into neon colors, cactus-printed fabrics, assless-chaps and other design details that bring you straight back to a ’90s rave in an abandoned barn… but we gotta hand it to him—some of these womens’ denim looks were ready to wear right out onto the street (and we’d wear ‘em)!

So you told us you refused to have a denim tattoo, but what about a denim wedding? We didn’t think this could be done in a charming, non-cheesy way, but someone has successfully pulled off a denim-accented wedding, setting the stage for future denim-loving couples to follow suit. Chambray suit jackets, pocketed-denim frocks, and even a tailored denim bustier can be seen in the mix! Refreshingly classy, non? They paired their denim clothes & accents with an awesome monogrammed wooden walkway for photos. It was an overcast day, so the clouds matched their color scheme perfectly. This is the ultimate denim-lovers’ romance.

This fashion editorial full of summer-ready denim looks from new wave online magazine TheOnes2Watch has us yearning for a sunny (even salty) afternoon by the beach. Styled to perfection with essential summer denim separates from cut-off denim shorts and bermudas, denim bustiers, and light washed jeans the only thing really missing is a swimsuit. But who needs swimwear when we have denim, right? We’re really digging the touch of luxe added by the metallic pieces—though we have to admit we’re absolutely in love with the bohemian vibe of the muted vintage floral prints thrown into the mix. Definitely the perfect look for an oceanside sunny afternoon.

If tie-dye and acid wash aren’t really your thing, the extreme contrast of dip-dye denim might be more your taste. From light wash to extreme blue (or a pop-color, if you’re feeling daring), the impact made on a pair of jeans or a denim jacket that experience this transformation can turn an entire outfit from common to killer. Dries Van Noten has a few key pieces on the market that are giving this trend another spin.

Looking for a way to spice up your denim collection? Nasty Gal has a few ideas, one of which is this sassy cropped bustier in patchwork denim, dubbed the Shakuhachi Patch Denim Bustier. It’s partially lined with hidden snap closures, straps, and belt loops. Bohemian brand Shakuhachi is known for less-structured, flowing sheer skirts as of late, but they’ve impressed us with this flirty piece. Want more good news? Right now they’re giving away a free denim tote bag with each order at their official site! (Note that this offer does not apply to the nasty gal site.)
