For Spring 2012, Court Jeans wants us to wear short denim shorts and be embraced by high waisted jeans. You may have seen the trend on cropped tops, so the high waisted jeans will be a great complement to your street style look. We are loving this extension to the 70s trend, because of the Daisy Dukes and Farah Fawcett appeal. We’re also loving the nostalgic touches throughout the collection: the star print shorts (very Wonder Woman TV serise) and the Joanie shorts (a nod to the ”Joanie Love Chachi” TV series?); and the vintage washed high waist bell bottoms.

Showing off her fit figure, Victoria’s Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio has been spotted on multiple occasions lately, from Malibu to LA. She was seen in a silver bikini top and AG Farrah Shorts. On a second instance she kept the same shorts but opted for a Wildfox Swim ‘Marilyn’ one piece. She also was seen shopping in Wildfox ‘Friday Night’ shorts in Aqua. It looked like a full-weekend fashion show with the change of outfits and cool denim-style. She’ll be taking her style on the road to Florida as part of the cross-country “Bombshell Summer Tour” for Victoria’s Secret. We are looking forward to more of her Daisy Duke candids!

Is this hot or what? Kate Beckinsale was snapped while leaving her home all dolled up in a pair of Current/Elliott‘s Boyfriend Short in “Dust Destroy”. She paired the destroyed daisy dukes with Chanel platform cap toe clogs (wouldn’t you love to get your hands on those? Too bad they are sold out worldwide!) and a Rebecca Taylor Quilted Bluebell Blouse. We love how this look is bordering on bohemian but completely glam. A smooth transition and perfect union of styled elements. Now we’re wondering where this beauty is headed!

Rihanna was spotted out and about in Los Angeles, making a stop for a bite to eat although she was looking scrumptious in her Daisy Dukes. Usually she favors Levi’s, this time they’re J Brand. She teamed her look with a Miu Miu polka-dot silk crepe de chine blouse, a Ohne Titel graphic striped cardigan and a pair of Prada beige ankle strap sky high heels, showing off those legs that her personal trainer must be just as proud of. Rihanna topped off the rockin ensemble with a shock of red hair, believed to be a wig, complete with a denim headband.
