Spending a day out with your kids is just another opportunity to be looking red hot! That’s how these two smokin’ hot mamas roll. Victoria Secret Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio was seen in a pair of Wildfox Couture Red Friday Night Shorts and LeAnn Rimes was seen rocking the J Brand Cut Offs in Red during family outings recently. They both seemed to keep it casual with their simple tops and flats, but given the fact that they are both muy caliente we’re having some trouble deciding who takes the cake. What do you think?

Are we dreaming or is Victoria’s Secrets model Alessandra Ambrosio cooling off with a popsicle as she goes for a late afternoon stroll in New York? She was seen wearing Siwy Denim Madeleine, cut-off shorts w/ exposed pocket lining. She paired her frayed bottoms with a blue floral button-down cotton gauze shirt and a vintage styled shoulder bag. She also had a slew of bracelets accessories piled on. The summer days are heating up, and we wouldn’t mind joining her for one of those suckers ourselves!

If you’ve been following this blog, then you know that summer is all about the color this season. Guys can get in on the color frenzy, too, thanks to Levi’s jeans cut-offs saturated in rusty “Sunburnt Picante”; “Sunburnt Blue”; and “Sunburnt Saunterne”. Or, if those colors don’t tickle your fancy, try a muddy “Sunburnt Cougar” or any number of distressed or dry indigo denim shorts. When we spotted these baby blues on Denimology we got a rush of almost-warm-weather coursing through our minds, and visions of BBQs, sand-strolling, and hanging out all afternoon to wash the car in the sun (hey, some people enjoy that!). It’s true—we love denim shorts. Here the look is made flawless by a saturated striped shirt that ties up in as a cropped style. Note that it’s not too tight, which would result in a slippery slope to fashion disaster. Give this style a boost with boho ballet flats or strappy sandals (so you’re not contained to the driveway).
