Recently, we heard about this website called zipfit.me that claims to have a “unique algorithm that matches you to the right pair of mens jeans based upon a pair you already love or based upon your body type and fit preferences.” It seemed legit, so I gave it a try. I liked was that I could try both methods without having to set up an account or enter any payment information.
First, I tried the more custom technique by entering my measurements and fit preferences. I knew I wanted a pair of white jeans, so I just searched through the dozen-or-so matches for a pair that came in white and voila- we have a deal! I also tried the process where you select a pair you already have from a list and it came up with mostly the same dozen-or-so pairs, so clearly I have a type.
I experimented with both methods, several times, and I can safely say the process is very easy – so easy, a male model could handle it. Payment was a breeze and my Paige denim Normandie egg shell jeans were on their way. They must have had them in stock, because I got my jeans in about a week.
I was pretty excited about my white jeans, because I’ve never had a pair of white jeans and, you know, YOLO- or whatever. I tried them on and immediately realized my blue boxers weren’t going to work with these pants. After a quick trip to the store for some tighty whities, I was ready for the joys these pants would unlock. For some reason, I was imagining them to be like gritty, Andrew WK style white jeans- but once I got them, I realized I had selected more yacht-rock, Hall and Oates style slack-y jeans, but that’s cool. I’ll rock that 80’s look, no problem.
I’m looking forward to launching these white light denim jeans into my summer rotation. Zipfit.me delivers the goods, as promised, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Too tall for your jeans and tired of trying to find a pair that look and feel amazing? Karlie Kloss feels your pain, and she’s begun a collaboration with FRAME Denim to solve the problem by creating a line of jeans for tall women. Read on to find out more.

Via Vogue:
“For every longstanding Kate Moss for Topshop partnership (where dresses have sold out within two hours online), or Elle Macpherson Intimates label (which has garnered a clutch of entrepreneurial awards), there’s been a blink-and-you-miss-it Abbey Lee Kershawcapsule for ManiaMania or Jessica Stam collection for Rag & Bone.
Models successfully moonlighting as designers may not be anything new, but Karlie Kloss insists she wasn’t jumping on any bandwagon with her FRAME Denim Forever Karlie jeans collaboration with friends Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson.
Rather her first move into design, for which she’s co-created two excessively long jeans styles—flared and skinny in light and dark washes, each with 40-inch inseams—was born out of necessity, not ambition. “I’m freakishly tall, so finding pants that fit is something I’ve struggled with my whole life,” bemoans the gazelle-like six-foot-one beauty. “My secret to pulling off too-short jeans has always been to pair them with boots . . . and I really rocked the flood-pant trend for as long as I could!” Keep Reading…

Besides their adorable mini-jeans, 3×1 was equipped with the particulars to keep us around their booth for a while, from their top notch Japan-sourced denim to their made-in-the-USA finishes.

Personalized denim is revolutionized with Scott Morrison’s denim boutique 3×1 in Soho. Morrison, a denim experimentalist, has been influencing the loom for sometime as the co-founder of Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn. We recently met up with 3×1 at PROJECT NY for an up-close look at their custom denim services. Morrison recently opened up in an interview with Racked about his innovative denim bar that combines a chic aesthetic and the comfort of knowing what you are getting. Morrison describes, “people come in, they don’t know if it’s a fabric store or a jean shop or what, but this beautiful sea of denim is probably the most captivating thing.”
The space features glass floor-to-ceiling cubes where the denim construction takes place. Unique to any other company, 3×1 combines the precision and detail of factory work with the elegance of a pair of jeans that are tailored to perfection. 3×1 is complete with a collection of selvage denim like no other, is ready to customize your dream jean or revamp your worn and torn favorite pair. The craftsmanship and dedication to the denim process is reason alone to check out 3×1 and their form fitting fits.
