Just because the weather has been unbearably hot, it doesn’t mean your summer fashion is reduced to wearing flip-flops and SPF one million. Maintain your studly appearance with some stylish men’s shoes that are suitable for garnering the right kind of attention when worn with your favorite pair of jeans. We found some great desert boots, boat shoes and other stylish must-have menswear shoes that will have everyone giving you the thumbs up this season. Tip: swap out your plain white shoes laces with ones that match the color of your selvage seam. Bam!

Inside the Bryant Park location for New York Fashion Week the vibe wasn’t all hustle and bustle as it was in previous years. Now that locations have been spread throughout the city between Milk Studios, galleries, hotels and whatever designers these days can budget for, the crowd inside the tents were thinly spread out with a lot of leg room to spare. But, I did eye a few fashionistas wearing interesting denim looks.

The city was alive and Fashion’s Night Out events had retailers serving up free booze and food. I downed a glass of champagne at Ferragamo and made a b-line to three pretty boys donning great denim ensembles.

How adorable are these three?
(Left to Right)
Wilson: Vintage military inspired jacket, Levi’s jeans, Cole Haan shoes, Armani socks (he wanted to make sure I got that in).
William: Vintage JCPenny denim jacket, Levi’s jeans, Bess Boots (absolutely loved these studded boots).
Bryan: Costume National jacket, Marc Jacobs shirt, Etro bow-tie, Diesel jeans, Diesel boots .

And finally, this cutey, wearing Seven for All Mankind jeans, shirt, cardigan and blazer all by Club Monaco and artfully disheveled Converse sneakers . Preppy chic never looked so good!

ORISUE Men's Ronin Classic Fit Denim, available at 80's Purple.
Not that I want these pair of Orisue jeans for myself, because these are indeed jeans for guys — it’s a definite head turner — I just help but admire it. We can all appreciate design when it seems out-of-the-ordinary, no? Named for the ancient art of origami, Orisue (the old name for this art), is a company built on the same design philosophy, expressed through apparel.
I can’t remember any other denim label that produces fold-over front pockets like this. The heavy, sturdy look of the jean says “I’m too pretty for prison, but I can handle a few scuffs.” These jeans are definitely stylish and a bit polished, even though it is considered “street wear.” Do you wear it with a button down Jil Sander shirt or an Ed Hardy-esque teeshirt? Do you mix it up with a pair of flashy Alejandro Ingelmo high-tops, or low-profile Cole Haan leather loafers? However you dudes choose to dish it out, this denim marvel is sure to be a conversation piece wherever you go.
