When basic classics and a slight touch of glam come together in unison, they make a killer combo that we like to call ‘rock steady’. Paige Denim seems to follow this anthem, (or should we say define it) in their new Fall 2011 Lookbook. It features ultra-appealing denim pieces set to launch just in time for the leaves to start turning, worn by British Pop Model Poppy Delevigne. The line has a strong emphasis on detail, such as chunky zippers. Classic Washes come into play, along with not so classic colors, such as burgundy and fire engine red, (perhaps a fall trend to look out for.) We love the women’s line, but ultimately have a soft spot for the Men’s, which is a blend of more traditional style and colors but nonetheless, seem to ooze sex appeal. Who doesn’t love that?

We’ve obviously been on a simplicity meets edgy fix lately, and this classic jeans and t-shirt number by Mike Motsok definitely does it for us on many levels. A smart aleck plain white tee, slightly cuffed regular fit blue jeans exposing a dapper pair of brown loafers makes for the perfect classics with a twist combo. A dash of James Dean attitude, killer charm, and a hint of ink definitely adds to the effect. We think we’ll go ahead and let it slide just this one time that he doesn’t know who Chanel is.

Levi’s Pakistan just posted their “new arrivals” lookbook on facebook a couple days ago, and as we browsed through the selections, it was easy to tell why over 1000 people clicked “like”. The styles are simple, fresh, and classic (Levi’s never lets us down in that regard). For the guys, graphic T’s, jeans ranging from drop crotch to skinny, canvas/seude combo shoes, and our favorite, the premium stripe shirt. For the ladies, some charming tops that hint at bohemian (like the ruffled blouse), dark wash skinny jeans, and canvas kicks.
