A fair number of people don’t venture into the world of denim overalls beyond OshKosh B’Gosh, but Chloë Sevigny has never been one to shy away from quirky-casual clothing in both her personal style and designs. Her latest nostalgia-tinged collection for Opening Ceremony includes a pair of short denim overalls, complete with a detachable leather bodice–definitely not standard workwear garb. So how do you feel about this update on the gardening classic? Do the leather and fit make it wearable, or are you still cringing with memories from your kindergarten days? Let us know!

Opening Ceremony‘s resident muse and guest collaborator Chloe Segigny is producing a full-scale fashion show for OC’s Resort 2011 Collection, set to debut in June. The “Big Love” actress has been a bit busy, but she is excited to be putting all the pieces of the puzzle together, from choosing the music, finding the venue, and booking the models. As if she isn’t busy enough, Chloe was recently doing face time at an unrelated event wearing of course, OC, and wearing a denim jacket which might be an original scored from the movie “Out of the Big Blue.” We get it: Chlo? likes denim jackets, so we’re hoping to see a few rad denim pieces to hit the runway.
