Diane Kruger was snapped in the sun at Coachella (specifically the H&M Loves Music Coachella Kick Off Event) wearing a pair of black & white printed denim shorts by H&M. Her shirt and boots were by H&M as well. You’d think she’s the new face of the brand, but in fact, the beautiful Ms. Kruger is the new face of Chanel. A printed tee + printed shorts + don’t-care-hair? Festival perfection.

Do you ever wonder what designers wear back stage at fashion shows? We scoured through the recent spring-summer 2012 fashion shows to see who should, might and could rock a pair of jeans, even under intense stress and poorly-ventilated conditions. One of the first names who came to mind were Rick Owens, Rad Hourani, Robert Geller, Frida Giannini (Gucci) and Sharon Wauchob (Edun); but sadly, they did not deliver. Mind you, most designers pop their heads out for only a few seconds before running back from whence they came. However, the photogs were able to capture these 15 designers who chose to take a bow in jeans. Who do you think rocked their look?
We were delighted to see Olivier Rousteing (Balmain), who looked more like a model himself wearing drop-crotch jeans; Kaiser Karl wearing wrinkled coated jeans; Olivier Theyskens (Theyskens’ Theory) sporting bleached denim shorts; and Sophia Kokosalaki—who wore saturated jeans—represented Diesel’s denim DNA even though her Diesel Black Gold collection offered nary a patch of denim to tide us over.

Vanessa Hudgens was recently snapped in One Teaspoon Original Trash Whore Shorts (some name, huh?), while Ashley Tisdale was spotted in a similar style of cut-off shorts: MinkPink Slasher Flick Shorts. Both girls went for the destroyed denim style with white knit tops while Vanessa went denim-on-denim with a Vince Convertible Denim shirt. She paired her shorts with Christian Louboutin leather clogs and a Linea Pelle Dylan quilted leather shoulder bag. Bestie Ashley took a more boho approach, with a Free People floral crop top a and Magaschoni silk cashmere grandfather cardigan. These are two cute looks you can copy this week! Which is your fav?

Sofia Vergara was spotted shopping at James Perse Boutique in West Hollywood wearing Current/Elliott The Boyfriend Cropped Jeans. The bright blue wash was the perfect compliment to her ADAM yellow burst slouchy silk tank, and a Chanel Cerf/Executive tote bag. The Modern Family actress seems to know a thing or two about working the neons, from her top to her cellphone cover! A few well-placed holes in the denim add some rock’n'roll casual to the mix, and the cuffed hem gives way to her super cute shoes. This is one outfit you can rock well into fall—just add a cardigan or throw on a sweater!

Kelly Osbourne keeps a pretty low profile as far as celebs go, but there is one thing that is out in the open: her love for her J Brand Agnes jeans! So far she has been spotted 4 times in them, but the greatest part is how she makes the jeans her own by pairing them with her own unique sense of style. While the zipper accents give the jeans a bit of rocker flare, Kelly doesn’t let them take control of her whole look at any moment. Whether it is a pair of Chanel suspenders, a cropped denim vest, floppy hat, or funky sunglasses, Osbourne makes it known that she is a fashion icon to be reckoned with.

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus were seen traveling in a private helicopter from Philip Island to Melbourne. After a rocking performance at her first Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena the couple headed to Hemsworth’s parents’ house for some down time before her second Gypsy Heart show. She wore the Hudson by Georgia May Jagger N.0 The Faye Lace Up Skinny in Black Sateen. She may still be at teen queen, but we’re glad to see her taste in denim is all grown up! She paired her luxe collab jeans with a cashmere cardigan and a leopard print lined leather jacket.
