Buffalo David Bitton delivers a mix of key trends and undisputed classics for both sexes in their latest fall/winter denim delivery. Women can choose between traditional styles like medium-wash skinny and mid-rise flare—or they can go for more festive fare, like metallic snakeskin ankle-zip jeans or autumnal yellow colored denim. Men are likewise treated to traditional selections in classic washes… but the more fashion-forward gents can score a pair of saturated teal skinnies. We’re favoring the latter. Other coveted styles include abstract and animal prints and carefully cultivated washes. It’s not easy to choose, but here’s one thing we’re sure of: Buffalo David Bitton is stepping up their denim game. Are you in?

We’ll be honest: when someone says “denim leggings“, we used to experience some degree of apprehension. When jeggings first hit the market they were straight up spandex blue jean replicas that couldn’t do anyone’s legs any favors (except maybe Conan’s). Luckily, Buffalo David Bitton have taken the denim legging to a new level of chic, and when we pulled them on their hand-dyed Penn leggings last week for the first time, we were blown away by how comfortable and yes, how cute they were. With the perfect amount of stretch and several autumn hues to choose from (like Raspberry, Flame and Black—which is more of a sexy charcoal grey), we were hooked on the versatility and the coziness. If you’re in the market for a fall denim legging that you can wear both in and out of lounge-mode, all while maxing out on comfort and staying stylish, this is the one.

Buffalo David Bitton has done it again with their sexy (and topless) lookbook for fall 2011. Who needs a shirt when you’ve got a killer pair of jeans on anyway, right? And while we’ll leave to the models to be the bonafide provocateurs, we would definitely be more than happy to take a pair or two of the killer denim duds they’re sporting off their hands. Though, perhaps its a better idea that we don’t (if you know what we mean). But with an amazing selection of wide leg and bootcut jeans, body-hugging skinnies, and killer leopard print denim short shorts, honestly how could we not be tempted? Whew! Who knew fall could be so hot?

Here are some behind-the-scenes shots of our super fun Buffalo David Bitton jeans photo shoot, where we took our fav Buffalo styles and ran around Brooklyn in them! Renee favored two pairs of candy-colored denim shorts (one style pink, one style blue), and we styled them up to take some snaps! You’ll notice her shorts are also the perfect length to flash her gorgeous crown tattoo. Now that’s fashion-meets-function! Check out our favorite behind-the-scenes shots below.
Below, Renee rocks her pair of bright pastel blue Buffalo David Bitton shorts, with a candy-pink top (anyone else craving a pastry with all of the sweet colors flying around?). She paired the cute summer look with a vintage beaded turquoise bracelet emblazoned with the mysterious letter “A”…
And that settles it! Our love is true. Stay tuned for more Buffalo David Bitton denim action as summer progresses!

In our second installment of the Buffalo David Bitton jeans excursion, we follow Renee as she frolics about the candy-striped exterior of the now closed Fred Flare Greenpoint location! Her light-wash semi-destroyed cut-off jean shorts with a faded pin stripe were styled sweetly with floral-frame glasses and a vintage tie-front blouse in off-white. The neutral palette is perfect for summer!
Here’s what she had to say about the experience:
“I’m loving pastel jean shorts for summer right now! It’s a little bit difficult to tell from the pictures, but there is a striped railroad pattern going on in these shorts, which gives them a little rock and roll feel. I’m so glad to go beyond the basic denim cut-offs this season! They’re fairly short with a medium to low-rise, but what’s the use of living in NYC if you can’t show off your amazing gams acquired from living in a 4th floor walk-up?”
Check out Renee rocking her shorts below, and stay tuned… the DT bloggers have more summer denim excursions to share…
