Despite our in-the-moment excitement over novelty washes and fun styles, we’re all about versatility and longevity in our denim selection. So when LOVE Premium Denim approached us with the notion that they supply “the only jean you’ll ever need”, we were intrigued. Further, they donate a portion of proceeds to the CURE Foundation for breast cancer awareness. Styles are named after breast cancer survivors. How’s that for some love?
They slid on like butter! The fabric is extremely soft. I thought, “I have been dreading the moment where the weather in NYC is cool enough for jeans… but these soften the blow.”
I see these being a daytime errand, weekend relaxation, quick fix to an outfit dilemma kind of jean. They’re super comfortable so I will probably fall asleep in them during late night Netflix sessions this fall, but they’re also cute enough to wear with a luxe knit top and some statement jewelry for a dinner date.
I’m all about medium-to-high rise, so these are perfect for me. They’re a flattering jean overall. The cotton-lycra blend mean some control action, which most women are interested in. I’ll probably tailor the hems so they’re more flattering around my ankles (I’m 5’7″). After a full day of wear, there wasn’t any noticeable stretching or sagging in the fabric. Overall? I love them.
Halloween is upon us, but don’t forget: it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Earnest Sewn is bringing back their hot pink BCA jean for October and donating 20% of each jean sold to The American Breast Cancer Foundation. With celebrity fans such as NBC’s The Voice’s coach Christina Aguilera, these jeans are sure to turn heads.
