Are you a bow tie kind of man? We know a few gentlemen who might appreciate the sartorial accents provided by Italian designer Federico Batelli‘s range of denim bowties, new for Spring-Summer 2012. The “Untitled” collection features bow ties in a variety of indigo, tie-dyed and bleached effects, whether that be in denim or chambray. We’re loving the variety of textures on these portable accessories, worthy of The Sartorialist‘s attention. Now the question remains: how would you style your denim bowtie?

Hints of bow ties peppered the fashion landscape for the past few years, thanks to the likes of fashion designer Alber Elbaz of Lanvin, TV character Chuck Bass of Gossip Girl, political commentator Tucker Carlson, and tiny fashionista/blogger Tavi Gevinson (remember that giant bow headband at the Dior Spring 2010 couture show?). And, now, the bow tie trend is finally gaining some real traction.
In particular, the gentlemen’s bow ties are experiencing a resurgence, thanks to the growing popularity of Dandy style in pop culture. Once only made of more traditional textiles, such as silk and tweed, Denim brand Naked & Famous presents their new collection of men’s statement pieces (bow ties and skinny neck ties), remixed in selvedge denim. An everyday man can punctuate his streetwear with just enough dapper features to get his stylish point across.
