Levi’s has officially released its new women’s denim collection for Fall 2015. While the fashion world has been slowly turning its gaze towards menswear, Levi’s has been quietly channeling powerful feminine energy. The new line has been described by the denim behemoth as “the most significant women’s denim collection launch since 1934” when Levi’s graced us with the first pair of women’s jeans, the 701. Over the past two years designers have been developing the company’s women’s line into a classic collection strong enough to stand along its famous Lot 500 series. The newly fleshed-out Lot 700 is equipped with fits that flatter all body types and styles with staying power that appeal to all tastes. Check out the new additions to Lot 700 below.

The new series is meant to have the go-to pair of jeans for every woman. The new Live In Levi’s global campaign reflects the inclusiveness in their women’s line featuring female artists of all ages, shapes and ethnicities. Stars of the campaign include Alicia Keys, Ryn Weaver, and Ibeyi.

Here at Denim Therapy, we love to see super moms such as Victoria Beckham, create and conquer it all before dinner time. Case in point, Ms. Beckham has successfully managed to change a couple of diapers, cook dinner for her hunk of a husband Mr. Beckham, all while conquering the fashion world one design at a time. Cleverly and might we say extremely business savvy, Ms. Beckham has maintained the upkeep of her luxury denim brand, Victoria Beckham Denim, and for that we salute her. This upcoming fall/winter season, the signature skinnies and cropped skinnies are joined by a clean bootcut and a slim boyfriend. Colors are also muted with aubergine, lavendar and green, and detailing such as zips and insert panels are kept subtle. If this doesn’t speak women power in all volumes we don’t know what else will.

Jewel tone-jeans, denim-on-denim, and zipper details are some of the reasons we’re obsessed with the 7 For All Mankind Fall 2011 lookbooks (for men and women). The styling suggests that a semi-industrial look can become totally chic when the tones are desaturated but full of rich color, and something classic like the denim workshirt is played up with beautiful jewelry or a classy skinny tie. As expected, the skinny and the flare leg make appearances in the womens’ collection, while the bootcut, cargo, and cuffed straight leg are strong in the mens’ collection.
