With just one look at the covetable bright blue reptile print jeans, we had to see what was up with Black Orchid Denim. As you may recall from their sultry Fall/Winter 2011 campaign, Black Orchid has a knack for raising the bar on sexy jeans. For Spring-Summer 2012, we notice a bit more of an eclectic mix of vintage wash looks and colorful prints (a girl likes to have options!), inspiring Boho style, Western, glam, rocker and some ethnic-tribal patterns.

Our obsession with boho chic trends has yet to suffice for us to slow down, which makes it hard for us to focus our attention on another emerging trends, (A love affair you say? Why yes, it certainly is!) So when we found this very cool post about fringe bags the urge to share it with you guys was almost insatiable. Point blank, the reason we love fringe bags: they’re cool, you can dress them up or down and as we approach fall they compliment denim very well. Not just “hippie chic” these bags can be worn in a multitude of ways and after all who doesn’t love versatility?

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale was out for the Havaianas Mercado Pop-Up Shop Launch in Hollywood wearing a combo look of boho/casual chic in AG Adriano Goldschmied Denim Leggings. She opted for the 4 Years Dark Tonal jeans, mixed with cute accessories and prints to make her look stand out (though we think you’ll agree, this little lady’s best accessory is her smile). Her semi-cropped top features both lace and a floral print and she wore some chunky open-toed clogs (she scored a pair of flip flops for later), along with a black cuff and beret hat over her loose braid. We approve.

Alessandra Ambrosio (the Victoria’s Secret babe) was seen rocking her own approach to boho-chic with a bit of grunge style in a pair of Siwy Denim Camilla Cut-Off Shorts in Loveless wash. Her casual approach to the look included a printed tank top and some super-pretty feather-motif earrings. Her hair was half-pulled back and her sandals kept understated. This is an errand-running outfit for sure, but the accessories (check her wrists!) keep it exciting. And obviously, we love the cut-off shorts.

Top three reasons why we love the 70′s era: Jimi Hendrix, 8 track tapes, and the beautiful Farrah Fawcett. It was an era that transformed peace loving hippies into rocking trendsetters of the 80′s. Believe it or not, the 1970s also perpetually inspired our style, with key pieces such as macrame, fringe, floppy hats, and feathered jewelry. Denim pieces such as, wide leg pants, and button up skirts were essentially must have items. Combine these two elements and you have the effortlessly chic style of the 70s. So it’s easy to see why the trend has come back into play, Bohemian “boho chic” (seen below) is a modern 70s flair that screams sexy and powerful but not to overdone. After all, who wouldn’t want to kick butt (think Charlie Angels) in a pair of wide leg high rise pants? We wouldn’t have it any other way.
