We stopped by the Black Orchid Denim showroom yesterday to preview their latest, and were immediately drawn to the refreshing resort wear quality of their tropical and floral printed denim shorts. Visions of sailing on a summer afternoon in a breezy tank and a pair of these cut-offs completely took over, despite the slushy, snowy conditions right outside the window. It’s no shocker that celebs love Black Orchid Denim—and since the West and East Coasts are experiencing much different weather right now, we’re seeing the best of late summer and fall fashion translated through the brand’s most sought-after styles. Black Orchid Denim takes us behind the scenes on their recent photo shoot for their Fall-Winter 2011 lookbook entitled “Voyeur.” Remember the eye-candy photos from our previous feature on Black Orchid’s Fall 2011 photoshoot? We’ve now got the video. Featuring a model whose smokey glances could burn a hole through the camera lens, she can certainly show the ladies (and gents) how good it feels to be in a pair of Black Orchid jeans, whether they were skinny ankle jeans, zipper jeans or metallic jeans. With Sade’s “Smooth Operator” setting the mood for the shoot, which takes place in and around a gentleman’s club, we see the model posing not only as a guest, but teasingly as a performer.
