Alessandra Ambrosio was spotted in a fun spring look recently: a pair of flare leg jeans by Black Orchid (grab a similar pair of flare leg jeans here) with a bright neon pink sweater. The simple pop-color combo and vintage flare leg silhouette makes for a great casual ensemble for shopping or running errands.

We’ve notice for quite some time how Lee Jeans in Europe (aka Lee Europe) has a covetable collection of on-trend jeans for men and women, and they continue to surge forward for Fall-Winter 2012 with a range of colored jeans in tailored cuts and sleek silhouettes. You wouldn’t even stop to think that its American counterpart collection could somehow be related, but we won’t go there. We only hope Lee brings some of those yummy jeans stateside, because we’re ready to have our minds changed. Yes, Lee Jeans might possibly be cool again in the U.S. Check out the gallery for all the velvety, sleek looks!

Winter hasn’t done much to distract us from thinking about summer this year, so we might as well embrace it. We’re all over Raven Denim‘s spring 2012 women’s lookbook, featuring easy poolside style with a bit of a vintage twist. Raven has quite the variety of flare leg jeans (will they make believers out of those of us who still haven’t pulled on a pair for more than one fitting?), from moderate flare to more dramatic approaches. Their skinnies, khakis, and cropped styles come in a basic run of classic hues. These are fresh, fit jeans that will look awesome with clean summer basic knits. Check out the offerings below.

This spring, expect to see stylish people not only rocking colored jeans, but pastel snakeskin print jeans, thanks to TEXTILE Elizabeth & James. The denim-driven brand offshoot of the more runway-friendly Elizabeth & James fashion label is daring fashionistas to go boldly beyond solid neons (check out their pre-Spring neon capsule collection at Shopbop) and basic five-pocket jeans. Fancy a psychedelic kaleidoscope print? Last season’s nod to the ’70s continues somewhat; however, the collection has a larger ’80s fashion presence: skinny ankle jeans, pastel denim and a boyish denim overall. If you’re still in love with their bell bottom jeans, TEXTILE will have a juicier version to appease you. Check out the lookbook and take it all in.

As summer comes to a close, we’re having a hard time accepting the fact that we will soon have to retire our beloved denim cutoffs and midriff baring tops. On a brighter note, the fall season is fast approaching, and while we would love to bask in the sun all day, we must admit it feels good to welcome the crisp clean autumn air. Not to mention the return of trench coats, knit sweaters, boots and darker/richer color denim; key essentials that every fall wardrobe needs. But until the time comes for you to make the change, transition your beloved denim high-waisted shorts from summer to fall by pairing it with a pussy bow blouse (as shown below). For cooler days throw on a pair of opaque tights under shorts to keep your legs warm. And if shorts aren’t your thing dress up a pair of your favorite bell bottoms jeans with an ultra cool 70′s ruffled shirt for a retro-chic effect. Who knew seasonal changes could be this easy?!

Katie Holmes’ style is business as usual in this snapshot, dressed in classic white cuffed button-up shirt with double breast pockets and a clean pair of jeans. Navy and white are a timeless combination that turns a simple combo into a real statement. Her sunglasses hid her eyes but we couldn’t help but gawk at how great these jeans make her butt look! Her denim of choice? Paige Premium Denim High Rise Bell Canyon in Breckenridge. We love the on-trend flare leg with the preppy top, and she must love them too. We’ve seen her wear them three times already! After all, not even the stars need a million pairs of jeans when they find a few pairs that are the perfect fit.

Hilary Duff was chanelling her inner hippie-chic in West Hollywood, sporting a Helmut Lang Geometric Knit Tank, Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Sunglasses, and 7 For All Mankind Bell Bottom Jeans. Her flares were long enough to cover her shoes without dragging (something we can take care of if you’re having that problem), but yet still managed to not drag on the floor. The light blue wash paired with the white top give the feeling of fresh, summer air. Just what the doctor ordered!

Been shopping for flared jeans? Get the skinny on J Brand‘s latest ‘70s style jeans: the Martini Flare. Retailing from $167 to $185, it’s a bell bottom jean with a vintage silhouette and a modern, smaller bell. Unlike the Joe’s Jeans Skinny Micro Flare jeans we reviewed recently, which only has a slight flare from the ankle down, the Martini opens up gradually into a moderate bell bottom starting below the knee. If you really want to try the latest seventies-inspired jeans, then the Martini Flare jean is a good bell bottom to test the waters. We are loving this skinny jean with a slight wide leg because of its slimming and leg-lengthening look. We think the Martini Flare skinny bell bottom will be your new go-to jeans to wear for summer through fall.
