Boyfriend, baggy, drop crotch… We love the comfort and casualness of all loose-fitting jeans, but did you hear about the guy in Alabama who went to jail for his jeans’ sagginess? It’s true! A judge sentenced a twenty-year-old to three days in jail for wearing his pants too low in public. So, remember, when you’re sporting the latest in relaxed denim, make sure the waist fits! And if it doesn’t, Denim Therapy will keep you and your pants out of prison with our amazing tailoring service! Take a peek at our site and see what else we can do to help you avoid the fashion police.

Sofia Vergara was spotted shopping at James Perse Boutique in West Hollywood wearing Current/Elliott The Boyfriend Cropped Jeans. The bright blue wash was the perfect compliment to her ADAM yellow burst slouchy silk tank, and a Chanel Cerf/Executive tote bag. The Modern Family actress seems to know a thing or two about working the neons, from her top to her cellphone cover! A few well-placed holes in the denim add some rock’n'roll casual to the mix, and the cuffed hem gives way to her super cute shoes. This is one outfit you can rock well into fall—just add a cardigan or throw on a sweater!

For Fall 2011, Current/Elliott has reintroduced a line of jeans for men along with the brand’s successful womens jeans collection. As the brand made its name with its wildly popular Boyfriend and Bell Bottom jean fits, those silhouettes are not going away anytime soon. And to follow suit, the men’s denim also has a few baggy jeans and a railroad striped jean of its own to complement the women’s jeans collection. Unlike the men’s Fall 2011 lookbook, which takes place outdoors in natural surroundings (reminiscent of the first women’s lookbook), the Fall women’s lookbook is set inside a theatre in which the models are styled with various Edwardian-era capes, wraps and top hats. Perhaps the stylist may have taken some liberties from the pages of a Steampunk fashion book, but we do love Current/Elliott’s ability to inspire us through its storytelling mix of modern jeans set against a semi-period backdrop. The wheels are constantly spinning over at Diesel Jeans. Not one to rest on their laurels, Diesel launches their new Jogg Jeans: jeans literally as comfortable as your sweatpants, in baggy and skinnier silhouettes. Perhaps it’s all the late nights and weekends banging out new marketing campaigns in their own sweatpants which inspired the latest denim hybrid, but the concept is quite intriguing. With the exception of raw denim, premium denim these days can be quite comfortable. But, Diesel thought it wasn’t good enough, apparently. The Jogg Jeans for men and women are slated to drop exclusively at Selfridges in June, and in stores worldwide in August.

How many students can you squeeze into a pair of jeans? How many ways can you wear jeans? Peace-loving artsy magazine Battle in Vain recently tested these questions using fun-loving volunteers from University of Salford (Greater Manchester, England), friends and random volunteers. “The idea was to get [the jeans] away from being the trusty sidekick and have them centre stage; getting people to get together and celebrate their differences while wearing their trusty loved denim,” said magazine founder Aaron McCammon.
When you watch the video, you sort of feel like it’s a freestyle battle of who can be the most crazy with their jeans. Oh, and the extra baggy jeans in the video is a BKLYN Denim vintage treasure belonging to McCammon. Of course, when you bring total strangers together who also contribute their own jeans for an experimental photo shoot, comedy (or havoc) is likely to ensue; but, we’ll let you be the judge.

Top model Carmen Kass gets her sexy on in nothing but her skivvies and denim in the latest issue of French Vogue. Though not quite sporting the type of lingerie that first comes to mind we definitely love this take on a sporty kind of sex appeal. We’re not going to lie—needless to say, we are especially stoked all of the denim styled into the mix. Low-slung baggy jeans and exposed CK’s? Marky Mark eat your heart out!
