1. Rihanna‘s second capsule collection for Armani Jeans includes a pair of tartan-accented denim shorts, and a distressed denim jumpsuit. We can totally see RiRi wearing this looks, but the bigger question: can you see yourself wearing them?
2. Swiss photographer Karlheinz Weinberger‘s taking his denim photographs a step further with Jeans, a photo book of black-and-white portraits of people wearing, well, jeans.
3. Selectism is giving away a pair of Levi’s 511 black jeans. Tell them why you need a pair and you could win!
4. G-Star Raw‘s fall/winter women’s lookbook is FIERCE. Denim on denim, overalls, slouchier styles–get excited.

Here’s one way to approach monday mornings: start ‘em off with some mojo medicine! Rihanna’s new video for Armani Jeans was released last week, and it’s pretty hot. We appreciate all of the writhing in white sheets and photo collage sorting (adds depth we guess?), but what’s up with how flat her butt looks in these jeans? And rhinestones on the pockets? Really? Anyway, the jeans might not be at the top of our wish-list, but this video is one to watch.

1. Cheap Monday is opening its first stand-alone store in the UK on the 17th (that’s Friday). Rumor has it they’ll be big celebrations surrounding the opening, including a party bus.
2. Denim Hunt is featuring the Visvim “Social Sculpture Weld” shirt as their item of the week. It’s a basic denim workshirt with a leather pocket detail (a zip mimmics a welt finish). Pretty cool.
3. Read an exclusive interview with Kiya Babzani of Self Edge on Rawr Denim—he speaks about how denim appeals to all social classes and cultures, rockabilly denim trends, and how he wants to bring Japanese 7-11 to the US.
4. J Brand is releasing new shades in the Houlihan cargo pant: Vintage Tigers Eye, Vintage Plum, Vintage Carnard and Creamy White.
5. Armani Jeans introduced an environmental collection for spring 2012, including colored denim and pastel hues in their well-known sportswear aesthetic.

1. Is Rihanna swiping samples from her not-yet-announced collaboration with Armani Jeans? She stepped out in a denim jumpsuit recently with a “Rihanna for Armani Jeans label”, which tipped off fans of the brand and the singer.
2. If you haven’t checked out the super-cute GUESS ad campaign for spring, do so. It’ll make you want to go to the beach. Also, stay tuned for our GUESS spring preview event post in one hour!
3. Stroll through Milan’s Officina Slowear and scope out some of the men’s colored denim they have in stock. We think a field trip is in order.
4. Remember those braided chambray pants we were talking about forever ago? Well, they’re on sale right now for less than $40!
5. Current/Elliott’s latest release is the skinny leather pant in a beige-toned wash called “pebble”. We love the idea of these worn with a sheer button-down blouse and some cute flats.

1. G-Star Raw is about to make a little bit of West Coast history before 2012 by opening up the first denim shop ever on Rodeo Drive:
“Luxury denim brand G-Star RAW will be the first denim brand to open its doors on iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California. G-Star, known for its innovative and cutting edge style in the world of denim, will host an eclectic night of performance, art, music, film and fashion for this special store opening on December 6th, 2011.”
2. This short film by Armani Jeans featured Rihanna, so you’ll probably want to watch it if you’re into elite denim and fierce females.
3. Tobi is having a huge online denim sale on brands like Current/Elliott, BLANK, 7 For All Mankind, Genetic Denim, and more. And you won’t believe how many styles they have.
4. Agave Denim is introducing new core fits for men, in classic straight, relaxed trouser, and relaxed straight (with a variety of great washes—but we’d expect nothing less from Agave).
5. A.P.C. and Anthropologie have collaborated on a house & home quilts capsule collection. These aint yo’ mama’s country home quilts! …Well, okay, they’re pretty close.

Rihanna was recently snapped strolling NYC in a few extra layers of clothing (many extra, if you compare the ensemble to her recent Armani Jeans campaign photos alongside Rafael Nadal where denim is the only piece of clothing in the picture). Still, she keeps it sexy with some sheer layering and a bangin’ red lip color. This time the singer was caught on camera exiting her hotel room on the way to the dentist in a pair of Current/Elliott The Boyfriend Cropped Jeans. Her top is an A.L.C. striped pullover sweater, and she’s rocking Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer sunglasses like nobody’s business. These are ultimate boyfriend jeans with a boxy fit, so we recommend keeping the rest of the outfit feminine if to balance it out. Rihanna knows—that’s why she layered a leopard print bustier under her top. Our question is, who wears lipstick to the dentist? That’s a diva move if we’ve ever heard of one.

You must admit, Megan Fox makes her jeans look good. And, we guess, Emporio Armani figured that out a long time ago and employed her as the face/body of Armani Jeans, underwear and Armani Code perfume. What’s next? Filmed by Mert & Marcus, the Spring-Summer 2011 Jeans and Underwear campaign video made us take a long, hard look at those white jeans she’s wearing (really, we were looking at her jeans!). Alright, we were also looking at those fabulous abs of hers, a bit, too. Keep in mind, Megan is only 5’4″ tall, so ladies, if you want to look slimmer and taller, maybe you want to try on Megan’s jeans in the video. Prices range from $130 to $330, and styles vary from slim to Boyfriend fit, with regular and high waist rises.
