Everyone wants to be rich and skinny! And while we can’t all have that luxury, we can wear Rich & Skinny jeans. The brand is the joint endeavor of Michael Glasser (founder of 7 For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity) and Joie Rucker (head designer of Levi’s and Guess?). As they aim to re-define denim commerce in the digital age, their focus is keeping their customers happy with jeans that’ll make them feel good in what they’re wearing. We stopped by their booth at Coterie to see the holiday and spring collection, and they showed us an array of animal prints in pastels and rich metallic fall hues (coated and sparkling) for holiday. Check out our favorite looks below, and check out Rich & Skinny on facebook!

Supermodel Heidi Klum sure loves her pattern prints. It was nice to see her wearing a solid-colored pair of jeans for once. After a picture of Heidi in the bold, camouflage Paige Super Tanzania jeans surfaced, it had struck me that she was photographed wearing Paige jeans at a lot of places around Los Angeles. Here, Heidi is pictured with Ryan Patterson of Access Hollywood last week, wearing a toned-down J Brand 912 Pencil leg jeans in “Mushroom.” She manages to maintain some boldness in her ensemble via a leopard print sheer blouse by Equipment. I really love how the earthy color works for her skin tone. She looks sleek due to the clean lines, and it’s a lot more interesting than wearing regular indigo or black skinny jeans all the time.
Heidi is inspiring me to break out my old silk cheetah cropped shirt jacket, similar to Ashlee Simpson’s leopard one. I’d wear that more if I didn’t think people would fill their thought bubbles up with descriptions like “Beverly Hills princess” and “310 girl.” Because, you know, I’m an original 213.
