Blogger and fashionista Maddison effortlessly rocks a pair of J brand skinny jeans with an H&M cropped striped sweater in this picture-perfect street style snap. We’re infatuated with the fire engine red denim, topped off by the subtle white nautical sweater. Saturated color and high-contrast work well for both street style photos and real life. Colored denim can look like a costume if you don’t play your styling cards right. Here we have the perfect balance between “sex kitten” and “girl next door”. The open toe Dolce Vita wedges add a dash of height and elongation to her legs (and who doesn’t love that?), to complete the ultra-pretty ensemble.

Ashlee Simpson was spotted doing some last-minute Christmas shopping at the American Vintage store on Melrose Avenue wearing her Dittos jeans. Dittos is a denim brand that dates back to the 1970′s however it was relaunched in 2007 with a full collection that is both modern and has a vintage perspective. Ashlee Simpson has been seen wearing the Dittos brand very often (especially this specific flare-leg style).
