You how crazed we are over colored denim, and since we just had an amazing Giveaway with BLANK JEANS, it’s no surprise we got excited when we saw Twilight star Ashley Greene rocking the same red-hot pair of BLANK JEANS “fire dept” skinny spray-ons! She paired them with some fierce Alejandro Ingelmo “Sophia” platform pumps, Salvatore Ferragamo houndstooth print clutch, Dita “Supa Dupa” sunglasses. While this outfit is definitely a little more fall than we’re used to seeing this time of year, it inspires some smokin’ ideas for our closets once the cool air arrives…

Not that I want these pair of Orisue jeans for myself, because these are indeed jeans for guys — it’s a definite head turner — I just help but admire it. We can all appreciate design when it seems out-of-the-ordinary, no? Named for the ancient art of origami, Orisue (the old name for this art), is a company built on the same design philosophy, expressed through apparel.
I can’t remember any other denim label that produces fold-over front pockets like this. The heavy, sturdy look of the jean says “I’m too pretty for prison, but I can handle a few scuffs.” These jeans are definitely stylish and a bit polished, even though it is considered “street wear.” Do you wear it with a button down Jil Sander shirt or an Ed Hardy-esque teeshirt? Do you mix it up with a pair of flashy Alejandro Ingelmo high-tops, or low-profile Cole Haan leather loafers? However you dudes choose to dish it out, this denim marvel is sure to be a conversation piece wherever you go.

Topman t-shirt (NOT part of the designer collaboration)
Topman is launching its fourth project in which it invites a handful of designers to create a version of a wardrobe staple. Past projects have featured white shirts, sunglasses and black trousers. This time white T-shirts are getting the designer treatment from Richard Chai, Phillip Lim, Juun J, Henry Holland, JW Anderson and Christopher Shannon.
Anderson and Shannon were both selected to participate in the retailer??™s MAN show during the most recent London Fashion Week. The T-shirts will launch online and in a few select Topman locations, including New York and Oxford Circus, London, on May 28.
In addition, designer Antony Price has designed a second ???Priceless??? collection for Topman, which launches May 14. Price is best known for his fashion influence on Brian Ferry and Roxy Music, as well as David Bowie and Duran Duran. The retailer??™s affair with Eighties style shows no signs of cooling.
