At Repeat To Fade, we get the chance to see the Blue Highway brothers (who design Sweden’s Blue Highway line in a small Eskilstuna basement) follow their obsession with denim knowledge to the deserts of Nevada, in search of really old denim. They find scraps of 1880s Levi’s, 1900s Levi’s lookalikes, 1922 Levi’s, tattered and torn (in need of a few months of Denim Therapy). According to the blog, they actually dug these up out of the desert. Is that wild or what? This post is from Xmas 2009, but considering how old this denim is, it doesn’t seem so outdated.
