The DT Raw Denim Project: Week 5

For 6 months, Gordon and Renee from Denim Therapy are wearing raw denim jeans everyday, and documenting their experience on Tumblr. Every Friday you can follow their progress here on the DT blog (see last weeks article here). This was week 5. Wait–it’s week 5 already? Holy smokes!

Gordon (jeans above): I’ve been getting more and more compliments on my Nudies!  The longer I wear them, the better they look. If my Nudies could talk, they’d have dynamic conversations.  This week my jeans have been on as I worked at the Williamsburg Flea, dined at Friend of a Farmer, and had a cozy night around  the TV with family. They’ve been to work, business development meetings, and out dancing.

Renee (jeans above): Like Gordon, I’ve been abusing the heck out of my Jean Shop jeans. Cooking, cleaning, dancing, running around with my 3 year old nephew… I even feel asleep in them one night on my couch (note to mom: it wasn’t because of drinking!). I had a styling session at Top Shop on Thursday, which I will be posting on Monday. And next week I’ll be blogging live from Coachella! But back to the jeans: the abuse is starting to pay off, with more noticeable honeycombs behind the knees and some slight fading on the thighs and front knees. I love where they’re heading!

It’s been a fun week! You can keep up with what we’re wearing everyday on our Tumblr, and we’ll see you back here for week 6.
