Zoo Magazine Shows Us The Art Of Denim

Fashion  has always tracked and echoed trends in art, from the heavily corseted S-curved silhouettes that reflected Art Nouveau interpretation of the female form early in the twentieth century to the first uncorseted, boxy silhouette that followed  in the 1920s, and to the streamlined, body-hugging dresses of the 1930s.  The relationship between the two  has always been coactive, one always inspiring the other and vice versa. And now more than ever have the two almost become one singular point of view that single-handedly expresses how eclectic everything has become. Modern has merged with classic, minimal has taken cues from grunge, denim has invaded workwear–the list goes on. We came across this editorial out of Zoo Magazine showcasing the modern day marriage of art and fashion. Styled in the latest designs of the day including denim–the textile of the day–the two worlds come together seamlessly and perfectly. Here are some of our favorite shots from the spread:
