I never really paid attention to what casual clothes the X-Men superheroes wore in the movies, until I noticed a screen shot of Wolverine running around in a wifebeater tank top and bell bottom jeans. The jeans were tight around the thigh, and flared out below the knees. I sort of thought that Wolverine was dressed that way, based on the era the scene took place. I wasn’t sure if I was crazy about that look, but Wolverine does look good in loose fitting jeans, as pictured above. He still looks tough, macho and rebellious without being a fashion victim. Would men around the world start paying better attention to Hugh Jackman’s fashion choices, now that he’s the Sexiest Man Alive? Will young dudes start dressing like Wolverine, complete with the motorcycle jacket and large belt buckle? Only time will tell.
By the way, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is slated to excite comic book and sci-fi fans alike in theaters on May 1, 2009.
