We had to share these kicks with you, but we’re still scratching our heads. These look to us like a novelty Korean pop star kind of thing to rock (Wondergirls much?), but we’d also like to think the average gal could pull them off with a pair of Coco & Breezy‘s, a leather jacket, and festival tickets. So what would one wear to turn a pair of sneakers like this into something socially acceptable on both coasts?
We suggest a pair of high wasited vintage cut-off shorts of a similar wash, a loose cut-out shoulder knit top (try this coral top from Nasty Gal), and a floppy knit beanie (don’t be afraid to channel your grunge-loving middle school roots). You could also try a pair of tribal printed leggings with a loose, long knit tank a-la Alexander Wang. Don’t forget a chunky metallic watch and neutral makeup. Good luck!
