Italian brand Emam? hit us with two new swimwear designs this season, and they’re at opposite sides of our spectrum. One, the denim bikini, we believe to be an insult to retail. The other, the beaded denim kaftan, is actually awesome, and though it might not be the most breezy thing you can wear on the beach, it does one thing right: it covers up the vile bikini. But seriously, the detailing and strategically ripped hems work well with the bohemian cut on the kaftan. In the case of its far skinnier counterpart, we believe this: there is no point in destroying, detracting from, or otherwise deducting the surface coverage of a garment that literally only covers about 1 foot of your entire body when you finish your calculations.
None the less, both are available now at Net-A-Porter.
