Some people think denim doesn’t belong on the runway, but Ralph Lauren apparently disagrees. Remember back in February when Ralph Lauren announced his new luxury denim collection, which featured a pair of $2,000 jeans? We thought we would let that idea sink in a bit before revisiting the entire collection of jeans, jackets and couture-worthy denim pieces, such as a denim tuxedo—all at relatively lower price points. For luxurists who normally don’t “do jeans,” we think Ralph Lauren is making a good case against denim snobbery. What do you think?
