Denim Therapy recently dropped by the Henry & Belle showroom to see the spring 2012 line and were greeted with an instantly pleasing palette of sea foam blues, cute fashion separates, and an anticipated range of chic basic denim styles in medium-to-dark wash. The inclusion of carpenter loops (remember those?), oversize boxy pockets, soft pleats, and front-ties took the line beyond basic sportswear into more versatile, street-chic territory. We fell hard for denim tops, printed with short sleeves and strong necklines, and we approved of an increasingly modest back pocket design (if you’re a fan of Henry & Belle you’ll notice that the pocket branding emphasis has been on a fashion-forward decline). The overall feel of the line was very spring, very seaside, very relaxed and comfortable while still stylish as all get-out.
By the way, We find the story of Henry & Belle relentlessly endearing—and we’re sure you will too, if you haven’t read it already. Don’t forget to check out our blog editor’s review of the Henry & Belle Ideal Super Skinny Ankle Jean.
