Two words well technically four words that we believe should be never put in the same sentence are Tye-die denim trousers. But apparently Thomas Maier felt the complete opposite when he produced his stylish and quite exuberant spring/summer 2012 Menswear denim line. It was said that Maier creativity, came to him from the 2011 Arab’s spring, which explains why the line would consist of such stylish, eye popping pieces. For the Bottega Veneta line, it seems as though an avant garde approach was taken, as oppose to the traditional style most of us are accustomed too. Denim pieces for the line were treated in a variety of fabric treatments incudling washing, creasing, over-printing, over-dyeing, dip-dyeing. We love the crazy over the top approach, but we’re also not quite sure how this line will play out in the real world. But in fashion the possibilities are endless, we’ll just have to wait and see.
