Created with Admarket’s flickrSLiDR.

Welcome to my denim closet.  This is my seasonal closet filled with
shoes, bags, dresses and jeans that I wear for the summer.  I am a bit
of an organized neat freak when it comes to my wardrobe.  I used to hang
all my jeans and pants, but as my denim collection grew my closet space
didn’t.  One thing that I am working on is building out a walk in
closet for myself, but for now I have all my clothes, shoes and
accessories scattered in various closets throughout my house.  Perhaps
in the future, I’ll let you see my shoe collection, which is all in the
attic well-preserved in their original boxes, but we’re here to talk
about denim.  Let’s take a look at my favorite jeans:

  • Joe’s Jeans
  • Earnest Sewn
  • Edwin
  • Joseph
  • J Brand
  • True Religion
  • Junya Watanabe Comme Des Garcons
  • Roberto Cavalli
  • Taverniti So
  • Martin
  • Daryl K
  • Antik Batik
  • Habitual (skinny stretch jeans are fab!)
  • J. Lindeberg
  • Blue Cult
  • Alvin Valley (kick-ass jeans and pants)
  • 7 For all Mankind
  • Rag & Bone
  • People’s Liberation
  • Development
  • Language (now defunct boutique in Nolita, had a great line of denim jeans)
  • Citizens of Humanity
  • Fractal (bought at Eva, NYC…great jeans, but no where to be found these days)
  • Rich ‘n’ Skinny
  • Sky
  • Sass & Bide
  • Grey Ant
  • My Lovely Jeans
  • Superfine
  • Paper Denim & Cloth
  • Express (great high-waisted jeans, cheap!)
  • Frankie B
  • Forever 21 (great disposable, stretchy skinny jeans)
  • H&M

Four questions we always ask:

Which jeans can’t you live without? Cheap Mondays skinny jeans, which go with everything day and night.

If you had to sacrifice one pair to the denim gods, which pair would
it be?  What if you had to sacrifice two pairs?
Antik Batik, the cut is
nice, but I’m over the back pocket stitching.  Now that I think of it,
I’ve only worn these jeans a handful of times before getting sick of
them.  The second pair would be Frankie B. for the same reason.  They
are both a little too Euro for me.

Which pair of jeans do you want to add to your collection? A pair of
jeans by Dennis Basso, very streamlined and posh.  Also, Sass &
Bide Strayed Misfit Slim Tapered Wax Coated jeans in Banshee
…sexy!  And, the Sass & Bide Slinger Flares.

Which pair is in dire need of Denim Therapy? I take care of my jeans and I’m not into frayed/holey jeans so no Denim Therapy needed for the moment.
