Ah, a refreshing variety of denim brands on sale this weekend at Gilt Groupe, including jeans for children. I suppose if you want to get your kiddies and yourself some nice new jeans before Easter, then there’s no time like the present.  Look for spring colors like pink, aqua and white in Children’s Joe’s Jeans, and a Sky Blue (Ksubi), all suitable colors for that Easter buffet at the swanky hotel.  Also, skinny, distressed, boot leg, capri, cut offs and mini shorts are all on sale.

Denim Deals: Gridlock Denim for $59

Have you heard of Gridlock Denim?  Launched in 2009,  Gridlock is a Los Angeles-based denim brand that made fashion headlines when they launched at L.A.’s Kitson boutique.  It’s a neat take on the chameleon jean: your jeans change as your mood changes, via patented Interchangeable Pocket Overlays.  “All it takes is a couple of quick zips, buttons or snaps.”  You can alternate your back pocket design without having to take them off, although it might get tricky depending on how tight you wear them. Television celebs like AnnaLynne McCord (”90210″) have been seen wearing them.

The jeans offered are the tried and true basics: straight leg, boot cut and a couple of skinny and cigarette styles.  Back pocket shapes and designs vary.  You can purchase additional sets of back pockets for about $30 at Gridlock Denim’s own Web site.

If you’re still not sure about spending lots of money on jeans you just heard about, The Sample Sale is offering them up for a mere $59.  So, you can get your feet wet and not totally feel buyer’s remorse.  Shop soon: sale ends in just over a day.
