You got that right, William Rast jeans for men and women are on sale this weekend at Beyond the Rack.  Glad to see there are some new looks offered, including gray and bleached varieties, besides the usual indigo blues.  Prices range from $109 to $129.  Tip: the women’s bootcut jeans tend to be a bit bigger on the thigh and hip, so you may want to consider sizing down.

Have you heard of Gridlock Denim?  Launched in 2009,  Gridlock is a Los Angeles-based denim brand that made fashion headlines when they launched at L.A.’s Kitson boutique.  It’s a neat take on the chameleon jean: your jeans change as your mood changes, via patented Interchangeable Pocket Overlays.  “All it takes is a couple of quick zips, buttons or snaps.”  You can alternate your back pocket design without having to take them off, although it might get tricky depending on how tight you wear them. Television celebs like AnnaLynne McCord (”90210″) have been seen wearing them.

The jeans offered are the tried and true basics: straight leg, boot cut and a couple of skinny and cigarette styles.  Back pocket shapes and designs vary.  You can purchase additional sets of back pockets for about $30 at Gridlock Denim’s own Web site.

If you’re still not sure about spending lots of money on jeans you just heard about, The Sample Sale is offering them up for a mere $59.  So, you can get your feet wet and not totally feel buyer’s remorse.  Shop soon: sale ends in just over a day.
