When you wear the same pair of jeans for years and put your wallet in your pocket repeatedly, it adds a pretty cool wallet-shaped scar, but eventually a hole can form in your denim. 1. Know your body type and be willing to experiment to find what works for you. Curvy women look amazing in tapered jeans and straight leg as opposed to an extreme skinny. Taller gals can (and should) pull off flare-leg jeans with ease.
2. Shop for jeans with a bit of stretch to achieve a snug fit without feeling uncomfortable. The best jeans can be worn in the office, out around town, and on the even plane!
3. As a general rule, avoid super low rise jeans. Be sure they have at least an 8″ rise from crotch to waist band. Even if you’re thin, low rise aren’t flattering and they don’t provide enough coverage of your backside when you sit down.

If you’re into boyfriend/drop-crotch jeans but don’t want to go outside looking like a Gwen Stefani fan from the early ’90s, there’s a way to pull off the look in a sophisticated fashion.
Redbook says, “Boyfriend jeans (baggy and cuffed) are the trendiest right now but can be sophisticated, too — just avoid the torn, ultra-distressed, low-rise styles that scream “teen.” They’re also versatile: Dress them up with a tailored shirt and heels or down with flats and a favorite tee.”

Luckily, no one has to live with this unwanted ventilation. We repaired this crotch hole for a happy customer recently and prevented them from tossing their favorite jeans in the trash.
