7 For All Mankind has launched its Aviator Collection via Creative Director Michele Manz who was inspired by iconoclastic women pilots such as Amelia Earhart and Maggie Gee and their style and spirit of adventure. This fall they will be hosting a series of events across the country at the 7 For All Mankind stores to celebrate the arrival of the Aviator (the launch is called “The Aviator Takes Flight” ). Even if you don’t actually get those stamps in your passport, they’re making it easy to dress the part of a globe-trotting woman this fall!

Brooklyn Flea, NYC’s favorite open air market of the summer, is held at the Williamsburg waterfront and features everything from food to hand-made crafts. Naturally there’s some denim action too, and where there’s denim, there’s DT. Over the past two Sundays, Denim Therapy linked up with the Resin Denim crew at their ultra-cool denim shack to get the word out on both brands and have some fun! We sipped lemonade, handed out Denim Therapy post cards and bags, and had serious thoughts about moving our entire office outdoors. Talk about a perfect weekend! Check out some of Resin Denim’s snaps of the event below.
Big thanks to Resin’s creative director Chantel Valentene and the whole Resin Denim team for having us!

Wednesday night Nudie Jeans Co & Brooklyn Denim Co threw a party in Williamsburg to celebrate the arrival of new Fall/Winter styles instore, sponsored by Death + Taxes Magazine, Budweiser and Vitamin Water. The line was stretched around the block of eager denim and music fans waiting to get inside, where in-demand bands Porcelain Raft and Oberhofer were getting ready to perform. Lydia from The Swede Beat performed a bangin’ DJ set before the bands took the stage. To say some trend-setting denim looks showed up in the crowd would be an understatement. Check out the party pics below. Watch Oberhofer performing here and check out Porcelain Raft performing here!

We’ve been waiting and the time has come! Diesel has released their JOGG Jean Collection in their online store and with the added bonus of free shipping! That is an offer that is hard to refuse, especially when you’ll be receiving such cool and comfortable pieces of denim. The collection comes in both men’s and women’s styles, so this is a perfect splurge for you or your guy (or both!). Diesel really sets the bar high for contemporary denim with this line and though it is a crossbreed of denim and sweat pants, we’re not going to let that appeal to our lazy side–we’re snatching up a pair of these jeans ASAP!

We’d never thought we’d see the day when two of our favorite past times (happy hour and denim of course!) join forces to coexist as one. But the day has come, and to say the least, we’re quite ecstatic about the “injeanious” collaboration. Reason why? Denim Lounge located in the heart of New York City’s diverse Brooklyn neighborhood Bedford-Stuyvesant, is home to a jazzy live band, $2 tuesdays ($2 drinks specials, defintelty love at first sight) and weekly events that allow local talent to show case their work. But don’t let the down to earth vibe fool you, the decor in this lounge is one to be reckoned with. The glistening black bar, red scalloped banquettes, and scented candles will leave you feeling swanky as if you just stepped into the Gansevoort Hotel. But being the denim lovers that we are, we take great appreciation to the quirky mural of a topless chick wearing a pasted-on pair of jeans and the muted prince videos that play on a projectile screen. Denim lounge has definitely lived up to its name and we’re not complaining one bit. Cheers!
