Is it any surprise that top fashion models love to wear denim? You’ve seen New York Fashion Week models saunter down the catwalk in next year’s most exciting new threads. But, between shows, what do these panther-prowling, platform trotting muses’ preferred go-to wardrobe basic? An acid-bleached denim jacket? Ombré skinny jeans? Sure, why not! And don’t you just want to hate them for always looking good, off duty or not! Check out these street style photos via Refinery29 and Harper’s Bazaar in which NYFW Spring-Summer 2013 models off duty are snapped in their personally-styled outfit of the day.

When seasons change, it’s hard to strike a balance between the one forecast and the next. Late summer is probably the easiest to dress for though, because you can always throw on/remove a jacket or a cardigan without much fuss. Try a pair of cuffed boyfriend jeans paired with a tucked-in top and a summer blazer for an early fall look that will stand out against everyone’s immediate transition to darker hues (while still shielding you from chilly breezes). Polish style blogger Martyna pulls off the look with ease below. Scroll to get it!

We’ve been talking a lot about shorts recently. Colored shorts, celebs wearing shorts, bikini and bathing suit top combos…the list goes on. (Hey, it’s hot!) But even in the worst oppressive heat, most of us have limits on what we’re willing to wear in public. For instance, when it comes to cut-offs, everyone’s comfort level is different. Need proof? Browse through some street style blogs. From upper-thigh to practically-underwear, we found denim cut-off shorts that run the length gamut in our search to answer the eternal cut-offs question: how short is too short? Is there even such a thing? Let us know what you think!
To help you reach your verdict, we’ve rounded up some stylish ladies wearing all different types of cut-offs:
Something else else to consider: how ripped, ragged, torn, or distressed are you willing to wear ‘em?
Pssst, if you want to make your own cut-offs–of whatever length you fancy–we can help you out!

Our favorite women’s street style look at the PROJECT NY show? This red hot combo of a crayon-colored hat and cut-off shredded hem shorts, paired with black spike-studded boots. The American flag in the background was a lucky coincidence.
