Miley Cyrus was recently spotted leaving London’s 100 Club after a performance by American Hi-Fi. The audacious young vocalist was wearing a very Kate Moss-esque outfit consisting of plaid flannel, leather, and Levi’s denim cut-off shorts. We must say, we prefer this ensemble to some of her cheesy stage costumes. Want to get this look?

The guys of Denim Therapy (and whoever shops with them) know that it’s really hard (if not impossible) to find a pair of slim fit jeans that are comfortable, attractive, and priced reasonably. Slimbs, a fresh new denim brand that we’re super excited about, is prepared to change that. The founders of Slimbs spent over two years conferencing with some of the denim industry’s experts to narrow down the formula for their American slim fit jean, which is currently being developed in three styles: Selvage, Studio Blue, and Downtown Dark.
“Guys should feel comfortable, mentally and physically, when transitioning to a trendier style,” explains their Kickstarter campaign page, “We are here to put to rest the social stigma that surrounds slim fit jeans by introducing a new idea of slim – the American slim fit.”
Slimbs is prepared to deliver on the things that matter most, made from top quality Japanese denim at an amazing price that mass market jeans can’t compete with. Our favorite part? They’re also offering free repairs on every pair of jeans… because holes in the crotch aren’t in style, in any country. We’re proud to say we’ll be handling the repairs for Slimbs, right here at Denim Therapy.
Check out their Kickstarter campaign page and donate to score one of the first pairs of jeans, and help get this awesome new brand off the ground!

Shredded denim is already awesome, but what if the denim was also as colorful as your favorite tie-dye tank top? If that turns you on, you’re in luck. It seems like, in addition to rainbow dip-dyed denim, dying destroyed denim fibers near the area of destruction is becoming a trend. We recommend going neutral with the top you pair this with: think black, white, or pastels. But hey, who says you can’t go totally nuts one night and pair these with a neon yellow bikini top?

As you guys know from today’s earlier post, we’re all about the destroyed denim trend. However, if you’re going to go for that look, why go half way? Anything less than full fledged tear-town makes you look like you just fell down the stairs, especially if the rest of the jeans look crisp and new. Such is the case with Johnny Depp’s fiance Amber Heard‘s jeans in this photo. We think she could use a little Denim Therapy. Our expert repair services would fix her up in no time!
Learn more about Denim Therapy’s expert repair services and send us your jeans for alteration, hole fixing, or hardware replacement. We do it all, so your favorite jeans never have to expire.

We’re loving destroyed denim this year, and it seems our options are more broad than ever. No longer are only cut-off shorts and boyfriend jeans getting the scissor and razor treatment before they land in stores, but now denim skirts, vests, and other styles are seeing some deliberate on-trend damage too. 3.1 Phillip Lim took tailored denim to a whole new level with a new capsule collection of denim separates. The set includes cropped jackets, tailored blazers, ankle-length pants, and a smart-looking denim pencil skirt to name a few. The styles are 12 in total and range from $195 to $895. The style of the shoot lets the denim shine in full, with the model’s face obscured by shades, cropped out, or turned away from the lens. For us, this is a refreshing return to what matters: our favorite textile.
