Siwy Denim‘s Fall 2012 look book features model Chelsea Tyler, who makes every pair of jeans look It Girl cool. If the name and the mouth seem familiar, Chelsea is indeed Aerosmith Frontman Steven Tyler’s daughter. That makes her Liv Tyler’s little sister (a former face of G-Star RAW). The first thing we thought when we saw Armani Exchange‘s spring/summer 2012 lookbook was, “Wow, we could wear a lot of this stuff to work.” The bright orange cropped jeans and khakis look certifiably professional (especially when paired with heels, chiffon tops, and slouchy blazers). But this collection isn’t all work and no play–there’s a few summer weekend looks we’d love to cop. Denim shorts paired with a crochet knit top and aviators? We’ll see you at the beach.

In contrast to Closed‘s Fall 2012 collection, which incorporates subdued splashes of colored denim and separates, the Winter collection kicks it up a notch with bolder and brighter blues, magenta (an emerging trendy color right now), softened greens and purples, which dot the men’s collection. For the women, expect to find bronze and silver jeans along side their colorful gem colored jeans. Of course, you can sift through their requisite collection of indigo and grays for winter—all in slim and skinny fits—but don’t you think a splash of color adds spice to your wardrobe?

We got our hands on both of Raleigh Denim‘s lookbooks for spring/summer 2012, and these jeans were definitely made to be worn in! The men’s line is clean and muted, if slightly rustic, while the women’s line features jeans that were made for action–as evidenced by the images of ladies scaling buildings in punchy orange skinnies and hiding in the bushes wearing raw, selvedge straight-leg denim. The Joe’s Jeans spring 2012 lookbooks for men and women are out, and it looks like a clean, casual look is in order. The women’s line is a bit more rock’n'roll with some ripped open knees and dangerously short hemlines. Even well-behaved silhouettes like the high-waisted dark wash skinny and fire-red flare-leg are oozing sex appeal. The men’s line plays it more safe, with preppy colors, nautical stripes, and some great basics knits.

Printed jeans are in full force this season, and Joe’s Jeans is out to show us how we can rock their latest Printed Denim Collection for Spring 2012. Expect to find floral jeans inspired by interior design and Pop Art; a tribal print, a muted leopard jean and a snake print skinny. Famed photographer Tao Ruspoli was commissioned to shoot this short film, featuring models strutting around a mansion, really nailing the fierce printed jeans look. Creative Director, Joe Dahan shares, “This collection is very playful yet sophisticated. We drew inspiration from impressionists and other art forms including music, the streets, nature and interior design.” His favorite print, Electric Blue Pop Art Daisy, blends abstract and pop art elements for a high fashion statement piece. French fashion label April77 is doing the oh-so-French thing: they’ve produced a series of videos to infuse a sense of artsy charm in their Spring-Summer 2012 lookbook, entitled “In Bloom”; as illustrated by a group of philosophical actor/model/Hipsters. Shot in a cinéma vérité style, it’s what you might perceive as one part actor’s workshop, one part group therapy in its quasi-documentary way. As the actors speak, the camera provides close-ups of the clothes’ most interesting visual textures, such as the marble-patterned shirt, a corduroy pant, and a pair of rough, skinny jeans.
