Spring Denim Perfection: Eugene Is My Middle Name

When it comes to women’s denim, we have a policy: less is more. We’re all about wild prints and exciting textures to spice life up once in a while, but a favorite pair of neutral-hued skinny jeans or no-fuss cut-off shorts can make the difference between a last minute outfit and a stellar ensemble. Eugene Is My Middle Name released their spring 2013 lookbook full of gorgeous clean lines and vibrant hues for the upcoming warm weather season, and we’re all over it.

Make Your Butt Look Better! A New Revolution In Women’s Jeans

de Chemin Jeans is new on the scene, but their philosophy stems from a problem women have had since the beginning of skin-tight garments: making their butts look better. Whether you’re aiming for more lift, smaller size, or any other magic transformation, this brand says they have what it takes.

“Born from the son of ’70s label Chemin de Fer, the collection is engineered to enhance the appearance of your bottom. Each pair is constructed employing more than twelve pattern pieces of engineered stretch fabrication. On the back of the jeans, there are strategically placed reverse yokes. The waistband is sculpted to frame your shape, and the detailing on the hips is inspired by aeyodynamic design to lengthen the legs.”

We’re intrigued further by their vintage style lines and high-waisted options… so intrigued that we’re going to try on a pair next week and let you know what we think.

Ziggy Denim Does Bleached Denim & Punk Rock For Fall 2013

Ziggy Denim returns with another witty lookbook for fall 2013. They’re rolling out more paper bags-over-models’-heads on a back drop of tin foil, setting off their wild color palette and diverse range of textures. Our favorites? Bleach-splattered purple-hued skinnies and a super dark-wash high waisted jean for women and drop crotch relaxed fit jeans for men. The “Back From The Future” theme echoes in 90s prints and silhouettes, which we can’t really argue with (so fun!). In fact, everything about Ziggy culture screams “f*** it, let’s party!” We know it’s only Tuesday, but we’re not opposed to slipping into Friday mentality a few days early.

Cozy Up With The Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren Holiday 2012 Lookbook

When the The Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren Holiday 2012 lookbook came across our desk, it became very hard to focus on the day of work ahead. Models reclined in rooms strewn with colored lights and cans full of paint brushes, decked out in luxe knits, festive blazers and vests, and vintage-wash jeans. Trademark plaid is worn everywhere in the form of a floor length dress, a comfy scarf, and a cropped jacket. The mood is both regal and creative, accented with top hats, fringe boots, and musical instruments. We’ve been transported into some seriously chic holiday bliss!

Eugene Is My Middle Name Delivers Winter Brights & Light-Wash Denim

We love the “less is more” design philosophy, especially when it comes to jeans. It’s always refreshing to find a pair of  jeans free of bells-and-whistles, that emphasize beautiful fit, carefully selected fabrics, and artisanal washes. Eugene Is My Middle Name is one of those brands, and their fall/winter 2012 lookbook features some gorgeous brights for the cold weather season. If you’ve been hesitant to wear light wash denim, white jeans, or metallics in the past, these styles should help you tip the scales in the other direction.

Buffalo David Bitton Nails Fall Trends With Animal Print, Colored Denim & More

Buffalo David Bitton delivers a mix of key trends and undisputed classics for both sexes in their latest fall/winter denim delivery. Women can choose between traditional styles like medium-wash skinny and mid-rise flare—or they can go for more festive fare, like metallic snakeskin ankle-zip jeans or autumnal yellow colored denim. Men are likewise treated to traditional selections in classic washes… but the more fashion-forward gents can score a pair of saturated teal skinnies. We’re favoring the latter. Other coveted styles include abstract and animal prints and carefully cultivated washes. It’s not easy to choose, but here’s one thing we’re sure of: Buffalo David Bitton is stepping up their denim game. Are you in?
