Tomorrow morning at 9AM, the SuperDry USA Times Square location in NYC will open its doors for the first time, and they’re celebrating by giving away leather jackets, t-shirts, and more! We stopped in today to check out the 14,000-square-foot space before the big day, and trust us, you want in on this.
The first 100 shoppers will receive a leather jacket as a gift, while the next 500 will get a free t-shirt. After that, for every $100 spent on opening day, shoppers can enter raffles to win two $2,500 shopping sprees and one $5,000 shopping spree. Show up, score some great spring/summer fashion, take your photo in their photobooth, and tweet your pics to @SuperdryUSA!
For more info, see the flier below.
“Superdry USA is an innovative British lifestyle brand offering men’s and women’s casual and contemporary apparel and accessories that fuses precise British tailoring, vintage Americana style and hand-drawn Japanese-inspired graphics.
Fashioned for both New Yorkers and international tourists alike, the Times Square store will mark the brand’s third Manhattan location since 2009, and will carry signature styles including windcheaters, lumberjacks and leather jackets in addition to exclusive Times Square pieces, such as tin-tab tees, knitwear, dresses and lightweight scarves.”

Yesterday Levi’s Made & Crafted opened up a pop-up shop in Brooklyn’s Smith + Butler, a shop with a penchant for housing pop-up collections of covetable clothing and jewelry. Right now the premium Made & Crafted spring ’12 line is on display, featuring looks inspired by ’60s Levi’s catalogues. The shop is set to stay open until summer 2012, so take advantage!

CLAD, the new online menswear shopping site, in partnership with Esquire Magazine, launched on Wednesday to cater to men aged 25-54 who hate to shop (at least in person). Touted as the “first-of-its-kind collaboration between an editorial publication and an online retailer, we noticed the site is chock full of editorial commerce: “picks” by Esquire Magazine editors, including an advice column entitled “Damn Good Advice.” We found much of the current stock of merchandise ranges from up-and-coming brands as well as established labels in apparel, accessories, watches and footwear, including some really cool denim brands such as Earnest Sewn, Citizens of Humanity and Rag & Bone. If you’re shopping for a guy who likes to dress like men in Esquire Magazine, then step right up.

Eternal denim fave Ksubi kicked off its new flagship store on Chapel Street South Yarra in Melbourne, Australia with an anything-but-ordinary celebration. Guests partied between the grungy, exposed brick walls while slurping up snow cones and drinking from plastic bags filled with vibrantly-hued drinks lit up by glowsticks (great idea, right?). The store’s aesthetic oozes the sort of chill surfer attitude that matches their clothing and, with a name like “The End of the Moon,” it’s only fitting that the centerpiece of the space is an American flag planted firmly into our most famous natural satellite. Blazing new horizons, indeed.

Last night, Denim Therapy was treated to some beer and barbecue at an exclusive preview of Nudie Jeans‘ new concept store, Nudie House, in Los Angeles. Now open, the store is situated just off the famous Melrose Avenue strip in Hollywood, characterized by wooden beams and industrial-like furnishings and fixtures; however, the space is surprisingly warm and inviting. Externally, you know it’s a store, but it also feels like you’re hanging out at a hip friend’s house. The store will also serve as Nudie Jeans’ West Coast showroom. In attendance was Nudie Founder Palle Stenberg, who just flew in from Gothenburg Sweden.

Were you at the BLK DNM grand opening early last month? For those of us who weren’t, here is behind-the-scenes footage, shot by Marius Crowne, of the store opening, from set-up to flowing vodka. Keep your eyes peeled, because Johan Lindeberg is seen in several shots chatting up his guests.
While you’re there, the ladies might want to check out Jeans 6 for women, which is a high rise jean, and Jeans 15 for men, which is a slight drop-crotch for men, with fuller thigh openings which narrow at the ankle. Hurry: this is reportedly a temporary store, which might be open for another week or two more. BLK DNM’s New York City store is located at 237 Lafayette Street, New York City. For more information, go to BLK DNM online.
