Our intense longing for spring began yesterday with our printed denim post, but now that we’ve caught a glimpse of the MiH Jeans spring lookbook, we’re head over heels and ready to leave this winter weather behind. Aside from looking like a blast, the shoot is packed with spring fashion we’re coveting, from super wide leg jeans to overalls and shibori dyed tops.
While our skinny jeans (layered over tights) are getting us through this cold winter in NYC, we’re looking forward to a spring of flirty, printed denim, cropped silhouettes, and fresh styles from our favorite brands. If you want to get a head start on your spring denim wardrobe, look no further than our roundup of printed denim for women.

Anthro Blog posted a cool way to personalize your denim this winter, using either thick thread hand stitching or fabric paint and stencil. We love the idea of adding a personal touch to our favorite baby blues. Check out the whole DIY.
Of course, if you want this effect without the work, you can send your jeans to use and use our awesome monogramming service!

Whether you call it snow day camouflage, winter whites, or the ski bunny uniform: wearing white in the winter is a chic statement for sure. But how to mix things up and add some edge? We love this styling tip: Layer some white deconstructed denim jeans over a pair of pop color or patterned leggings. Aside from keeping you warm, this will add some serious depth to your look.

We’re taking a step aside from jeans for a moment, to talk about something even more pressing: snow boots. The boots you lace up on a day like today can mean the difference between slip-sliding your way down the subway stairs and crushing through the icy tundra like a polar bear. Also, you gotta look cute. We’ve got you covered on all fronts. Check out our top picks for women’s snow boots below.

“H&M Goes Eco-Friendly – Set to launch in February, H&M will launch its first line of clothing featuring recycled textile fibers from garments collected from their Garment Collecting Initiative. The collection features five classic denim pieces made from 20% recycled cotton.
This continues H&M’s focus on environmentally friendly designs such as their Conscious Collection which will feature Amber Valletta as the face. “The trend is moving more and more towards working with recycled fabrics and as a designer you of course want to work with the latest trends and developments,” says Jon Loman, the concept designer of the line.”
